This is one of the evergreen songs ! And though conventionally Bhimpalasi raag is said to be an afternoon raag and the song is picturised on the background of moonlight night, it is no less effective ! Kudos to S. D. Burman saheb 👍👍😊😊

Exactly at 21.05 minutes , Music analyst mentioned Annu Malik as music director for "Tu cheez badi hai mast mast" song from Mohra .This song certainly is based on Raga Bhimpalasi. But Music directors are Kalyanji-Anadji. Similar to Tridev , Viju Shah managed Orchestration, interludes.

Commendable and great effort! There is need for more such programmes. The anchor/host oozes sweetness and warmth. Expert's inputs are high grade and informative. Quality of singing is top class. Kudos to the channel! However I would also like to make some constructive criticism. For a layman, there will be a disconnect between time of a raga - say afternoon for Bhimpalasi - and its use for a song - in this case Khoya Khoya Chaand Khula Aasmaan, that happens in the night. It would have been pertinent to explain such anamolies. Secondly, there are more than one song of a couple of music directors which may come across as a trifle injudicious considering that Naushad, Madan Mohan, C. Ramchandra, Salil Chowdhary, among others, missed the bus. Yet what stands out is the underlying message that classical base is not completely done and dusted and a thing of the past in Hindi film music. It is alive and kicking. This is what makes the programme relevant and contemporary.
