I have seen this exhibit approximately eight times over a period of 60+ years. You will not believe that what you are looking at is made of glass, because they are so life-like. Every time I have been there, I've heard at least one person comment that they can't believe they are looking at glass flowers, insects, grasses, leaves, etc.
I saw the collection in 2013, It's one of the best works of art, because yes it far surpasses many of what mite be considered great master's in art.. It's a symphony of color and shape, kind of a must see if your in Boston for a few days..
I visited this in the early 1970s in Boston (couldn't remember it was at Harvard though), I really loved it and can still sort of vaguely remember now - even after my brain injury.
Странно, видео уже 8 лет, а нет и 10 комментариев. Та и 12к просмотров тоже маловато. Изделия, удивительны! Действительно сложно представить как их создавали в те времена
Maybe they forgot to record room tone and so the audio/video editor tried to fill blank spaces with in-between-word sound clips. It's tricky to do well, though. Sometimes you think the audio that you're using is quiet enough but actually isn't, and you hear odd noises like this.

Does anyone hear any breathy sounds in between the narration? It maybe an audio fluke, or poor facilitating thru Motorola ( being polite)
What's with the weird breathing 3:56???
You are hearing the mechanical noises from the video camera.
