Floor is an absolute vocal athlete. How the hell is she able to sustain such insane vocal belts, growls, clean, distorted, operatic, etc for this whole concert? If singing was an Olympic event she would have more Gold medals than Michael Phelps.
SoFie, that was the traditional "Oh, He Can Sing, Too" reaction face at 2:35. Classic. You ain't heard nothin' yet. Marko will suprise you time and time again.
Marco "Bassist" has an excellent voice.. If they need raspy, he gives them that, if they need harsh vocals he does that too. But, if they need smooth clean harmonies to follow along with Floor, he can do that too..

The entire universe has a crush on Floor. It's her world and we're just living in it. It just says everything about her that almost every single person reacting to Nightwish immediately starts calling her a goddess. :D
And yes, NW's sound engineers are the best of the best. This show is honestly among the most legendary live recordings ever, everything is just perfect.

Think that slide was good? :) Listen to "Romanticide" and listen to Floor and Marko do a slide for the ages. Floor goes a full three octaves up and then about an octave down with Marko hanging in most of the way up.

Just to throw it out there, that "little" goddess is 6ft tall lol. Great reaction! Nightwish brought me and earned a sub, then I HAD to become a patron for Buffy! Loving the content! Please do more Nightwish! As someone who only discovered them in the last year and hardly listens to anything else at the moment, I can tell you that they only get better the more you listen.

Wait till she starts doing the low guttural growls.. Yea, every song they do here at this show is mind blowing good.. Buy, it doesn't stop here.. There is the Wembley Arena show, Tampere concert, Buenos Aries... and so on.. There has to be about a hundred different Nightwish songs out there on CZcams in an official live video format recorded from a performance from somewhere in the world.
you know it's about to get real when the drummer stands up! Floor's stage presence and windmills are equally as legendary as her singing. her and Marco singing together is just indescribable. i often wonder if there was a moment during rehearsals and sound checks when they looked at each other and thought, damn we sound Awesome! Wacken Open Air is well known for the quality of the recording you get when performing there.
Welcome to "Falling in love with Nightwish and with Floor Jansen 101" 🤘 Thank you for sharing your journey with us on that particular train! This show was indeed mixed beyond perfectly, but I'd also highly recommend checking out performances from their shows at Wembley, Tampere or Buenos Aires. There is quite literally not a bad Nightwish performance or song, so you can never pick wrong :)

From this same concert Everdream, Storytime, Romanticide , Ghost River (gives you lots of Marko(base), all different all epic. Actually the whole concert is epic.🤟✌️🇨🇦

That´s why she is our dutch goddess queen...She commands everything together with her generals on the stage with in front of her their Nightwish army...It´s sad that Marco left Nightwish...Watch also a dutch tv show Beste Zangers 2019(best singers), there you can see Floor Jansen sing different styles of songs or watch more of her solo songs she did besides Nightwish...She also did some songs with Epica and Ayreon. Also she did a cover for the game Final Fantasy "Sound of the Wind".

the level of creativity in reguards to the feel and rhythm of this song gets faster and definitley showcases what this band is capable of doing not just rhythmically but the layers of color along with the extremely talented professional musicians being able to such effortlessly transitions between sounds whether they be drums vocals guitars or troy flute or pipes the communication that this band has with each other is really something beautifully synced up, locked in that sort of thing with those sounds
Floor is one of those artists who have a very good sense on drama. Her body movements, expressions and timing is pitch perfect.
She in a way really understands the music and expresses it through not only her godly voice, but also through everything else as well. She takes in the drama of Tuomas' music and expresses it as her own.
A goddamn treasure in Floor Nightwish captured, since neither Tarja or Annette could never express the music as Floor does.
And Marco has always been awesome.

15 songs in the set at Wacken 2013. Every song is better than the last one...no matter how you choose them to react to. I found Nightwish 6 months ago and have listened to this concert at least 50 times, and as many reactions as I can find. Still get chills, goosebumps, and tears. Before you react to Poet and the Pendulum(not in this concert), you MUST do some research. It is an emotional composition and requires some understanding. Tuomas' words, sung by Floor in a most empathic and expressive way. But YES...do this concert one song at a time. It will help you get to know the band. This concert is a big part of the adventure, but it is just the tip of the iceberg! Welcome to the ARMY!!

You earned my thump without any doubt. What a great comment. Nightwish is the best symphonic metal band of the world and Floor the third leadsinger made the band known for ever. She is brilliant and she can sing anything. If you want to be convinced, listen to two totally different numbers. "Yours an empty hope" in which Floor does the low crawls (unbelievable) and than "The poet and the pendulum" the masterpiece of Tuomas, the keyboard player and composer of all Nightwish numbers. Phenominal.

I think for many, this whole performance that night is one of the best ever. With the whole backstory of how the good Floor joined the band in the middle of this tour and within the shortest time made all the songs, which were actually written for other singers, into her very own versions without destroying the originals. She is perhaps the most talented and versatile voice in the entire rock/metal scene. Together with the whole band and the genius songwriter Tuomas, who is rightly nicknamed 'Metal-Mozart', pure magic is created! 🤘🏻

Floor is the most versatile singer on the planet
since Floor became the lead for nightwish the band took a big leap upwards her voice is what this band needed and also her technique in singing

I think Marko's upward slide at the beginning of the second verse may be intended to give the crowd the feeling they were going to get more unison vocals, and then he drops off and Floor takes it on her own.

There are big events that change history of music. Like Qeen and Live Aid show. And this show is one of them. The little secret of great sound on this show is in the recording. They decided not to record final mix but they record everything separately. So they can do best sound for DVD.

I have no idea what happened that magical night way back in 2013 but im so glad this show got recorded and i have seen it many many times and it never gets old. I dare u to find a better consert ever. Every single one of them brought their A game that magical night.

Well, and then there's Floor - her extremely strong personality paired with these infinite vocal possibilities makes everyone instantly addicted.

You are quite right about the audio quality. Wacken, a metal festival in Germany, where this was recorded, is known for truly top-notch mixing & audio engineering, both for the audience and recording. The camera work is also hard to beat.
