In Mexico and Panama, they introduced the horchata flavor gelato and is amazing. The taste reminds me of arroz con leche a lot (a Spanish dessert based off rice porridge). It is already one of my favorites.

I went to Italy the summer of 2023, and I found this one flavor you can get anywhere in Italy, and let's just say I got very addicted to this flavor and it is stracciatella.

I personally prefer these 3 flavours:
1. Fruit like mango/banana/strawberry;
2. Spagnola which is like vanilla-flavored cream with black cherries in syrup
3. Pistachio
I agree that if someone chooses a cup over a cone when ordering gelato, there is something seriously wrong with them. Fortunately I am not one of those people XD
Anyway, what you two ordered looked so delicious! I've only had ice cream, so I don't know what my favorite flavor of gelato is. If I ever go to Italy, may I have your recommendations, please?

The best gelateria that I used to visit in Roma was Palazzo del freddo Fassi, and the medium size gelato looked like a large size, it costs €2
I was a big fan of Fassi: I am wondering if it is still good as it used to be. Their whipped cream was to die for.
In the US, we often say, "Let's Go!" when we are excited about doing something and I have often wondered if Italians say "Andiamo!" in the same manner and context. This video answered my question. Grazie!

Im not the best with understanding very strong accents but i understand the general words in this video and i really enjoy it. Keep it up. Delicious ice cream. I am hungry now.
Lately in my town it opened an amazing gelato place. And in the first day they were giving away free gelato. In the moment i tasted it my whole life flashed in front of my eyes. Every time i ate ice cream and thought that it couldn't be better.
I remember i got strawberry and stracciatella. I wanted to be something classic and something new.
I swear, it was the most amazing thing i ever had.
It was called Gioelia.
And i heard that it came from Italy here in Romania.
I'm not quite sure but it doesn't matter.
