Looking Glass Lodge

The Looking Glass Lodge combines sustainable design with a relaxing ambience. The design, textures and colour palette of the Looking Glass Lodge take inspiration from the untouched beauty of its woodland surroundings, and reflects the developers, Rik and Lindsey Goodman's, biophilic principles. Set in the tranquil woodland of the Mallydams Wood Wildlife Centre in East Sussex, natural materials are used throughout, including cedar wood for its exterior. The intention was to create a closer connection to nature through how the lodge has been built, using natural resources to create a sense of harmony between the architecture and the natural world.
The minimalist interior design brings together wood, linen and stone with a muted colour palette, finished with Lusso fixtures and fittings such as our gunmetal floorstanding tap, matte black brassware, and the Pod Freestanding Stone Bath.
