I am a fellow pro detailer, I have a tremendous amount of respect and appreciation for your work, I am a big fan. Just a tip, take it or leave it: Instead of the 2 bucket method, I use one bucket full of wash solution and one stubby or snub nose pressure washer gun/nozzle. With this method the wash mitt is cleaned much more effectively than dunking it in a bucket of water that is contaminated after the first dunk. I have tested it thoroughly and concluded that it is indeed much better. At the end of the wash the wash solution bucket has very little to no contaminants in it. The 2 bucket method will have far more contaminants in the wash solution at the end of the wash. I hope this information is useful to you! Cheers!

Beautiful R8 specimen! I love my Tango Red Metallic Audi S3 8V FL. I wish there was a detailer in my area whom I could trust to do as good a job, with as much care, skill, and attention to detail as you, Jim. The paint needs some TLC and protection, and it'll come back to its full potential, like this R8 did.

Some of the best videos for valeting, and some of the best work. I would use this company if I come into a bit of money I would treat myself to a new Audi RS6 and make sure the dealership doesn't touch the interior or paintwork and tell them not to clean it before delivery and I would use this guy with out any worries.

Locking key( lug nuts) for car typically kept in the storage location underneath flooring door etc...would be in the front compartment. I also ran into similar problem before as well. Or maybe owner keep it with him or her to prevent them from being stolen.
Looks like you went with microfiber pad for this amazing Audi, thanks for the great videos, I just started getting back into detailing, as I kid I did it back in the 90s using Collinie 845 !

A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to pick up my brand new Audi S3 Saloon in this Tango red, and when clean, it has to be one of the best reds I have seen, I love it!
I have always looked after my cars but haven't ever ventured into the detailing side.. I have a Pressure washer but nothing more than a few buckets. Sponges and random waxs etc! With this being brand new and free from previous paint damage I'd like to spend a bit more time and money on better products. I'm not looking for the latest and greatest for entering it into concours mind! Could you please advise me on a basic starters list from products to tools and where to go to buy it all.

Thanks for sharing these great videos. Could you during your Vlogs tell us a bit more about, which compounds, polishes and pads you choose to use, during the different steps and different types of cars you go through.
If you did that it would in my opinion as a viewer learn more about how others approach "their car" with technique, selection of pads, compound etc.

Would you mind doing a video in the future explaining the practical differences between foam buffing pads and microfiber pads? I need to do a correction on my Jetta and I would like to know what direction to go for maximum correction.

Quick Question! why do you use the carbon platnum wheel coating and not the Gtechiq c5 wheel armour?
How do you get gloss B pillars perfect. I just have a rotary and the least abrasive combo I have is Megs #205/3M blue finishing spot pad. Still leaves slight marring when checking with an LED torch. Cheers, Chris

i don't know if anyone as asked this before,but how long does it take you to coat the vehicle. My last C1+EXO job with letting the C1 "cure" for 3 hours in 55 degree temps before applying the EXO(V3) took me about 6-7 hours total.

Hi Jim, can you confirm what pad and compound/finishing polish you use on all light clusters? Is it specific pad and polish you designated for this job or same as the panels you are working on at the time? Cheers for help and advice. Great videos, look forward to watching future ones.
Hi Mark, usually the same pad (but be prepared to add an extra polishing set after cutting, before refining, as they can become pretty chewed up if using MF cut pads) Compound wise, mostly Menz FG400 and Sonax Perfect Finish
