When Markus was in Denver, I had front row seats and this dude was handing Gatorade to the fans in the stands and shushing them. Great dude. Miss you in Denver, brother.
Wow thats awesome
Hands down the best basketball content in Europe, these interviews are priceless, thanks Basketnews.
I was wondering what happend to Markus when he left the Nuggets. Great guy wish him nothing but the best.
He still the same player. Bad in defense. Can't pass. Inconsistent. One game 25 points, next game 5 points.
@@user-fu2vx6dw6v Well coming from the NBA doesn't surprise me why bad defense but I still can't understand why players from NBA are so up and down in scoring.
Might have to say it here, quite possibly my favorite player of all time
Great interview. I think we should replace
Canaan with Howard next season
BasketNews is pure quality! ✅ Much love & respect from Switzerland! 🙏

maaan i really wanted my nuggets to keep Marcus. I liked him so much
He made a masterclass in Lugo with Baskonia
In europe superstars are not protected like in NBA during contact
Markus Howard 🇵🇷
U R bonus Domantas
My question is based purely on curiosity and nit trying to sound like a hater:if the nba is easier to score ,why do many struggle to stay like marcus?
Markus Howard's field goal percentage in the NBA is 38 percent. In the regular season! That's how easy it is to score in the NBA.
That's a matter of efficiency not how easy it is to score.🙃
But why it is bad? I don't understand why it is bad to score easy???
@@ajo6326 When you are a nightmare for opposing defenses in Europe but on the other hand you cannot score in the regular season (NBA), when they hardly play any defense (compared to the NBA playoffs), it's hard to argue that it is easier to score in the NBA.
@@matasbutkus4071 Exactly. The players aren't even saying it's a bad thing, just that they find it easier. Easier doesn't equal more efficient, but some people seem upset by their comments.
@@ajo6326 why cant we appreciate both styles of playing?
🏀♥️
I understand when a guy like Luka says this but why couldn’t Markus Howard be effective scoring the ball in the NBA
He’s 5’10. Too short to play 1 on 1 defense. There’s less emphasis on team defense in the NBA so being undersized is a problem.
cus he is 2nd option as point guard he aint even getting those minutes if he got like 35 mins in nba ofc he would avg over 20 ppg
its easy to score 30points because there is less space and less minutes in Euroleague. however, the tekaent gap is massive
Bro averaged like 3 pts the nba. He did only play 6 minutes per game tho
And not many games. He was just too small on D
@@timwcroninhe should get big then
MPJ advice was i am 6.10ft you need to get taller.
Ahhhmmmm...

Does he know?
Easiest yet only averaged 3.4 ppg
He's es third string on the Nugs
@David Montgomery injuries happen. He had games where he played more and at relevant times. Overall i think he's talking about rules though. Defensive three seconds etc
Stats don’t tell the full story and when taken out of context,
@@WyWid They tell enough, the guy wasn’t good enough offensively to compensate for his lack of defense that’s the reason he didn’t last in the nba.
@@gymrat8164 that’s a great way of putting. So you’re saying his offense doesn’t out weigh his defense. If he’d score 10 point he might give up 12 in simple terms?
