I just finished Girls and it was so so good and I honestly didn't expected that! (But not gonna lie, that feeling like of "is a little too much" or "hits too close of home" never goes away) ❤
I was the exact same age as the characters when the show came out and it hit SO close to home I stopped watching it during season four, middle of an episode, for about two years. I just did a rewatch and I found that’s it was way more enjoyable to watch it now that I don’t relate to them as much lol

You should consider donating clothes to the Bowery Mission next time! I know they are a religious org which I don’t love personally but when you see the line of how many people they feed every day you know the clothes are going to people who truly need it. And the people who work there are always very grateful for donations.
