Laura was a "Castrato" = a castrated male singer, as are many "female" stars. We now refer to them as transgender, but it's certainly nothing new.
Laura was such a wonderful performer; with all those playful yet seductive expressions (as well as her magnificent voice of course) she really knew how to captivate her audience - and as for that outfit....WOW!

She had a great talent but has never shown any arrogance and insisted in demostrating her pure presentation and performance to the audience, with no fuss. The album "BRANIGAN" was the very first album I ever bought and fell in love with that voice from the get go . Your voice will always be a missing link in a hit single - A Laura Branigan song was known when you heard it play on the radio - just a unique voice......... someone should do a complete remake of all her hits and bring them all back - the music charts need her again.
