  • Russell Shakespeare captures the work of Australia’s top contemporary artists, Michael Zavros with the Leica M10-R.
For his series ‘A Guy Like Me’ Michael created an eerie sculpture of himself to illustrate what the consumer may look like in a post-pandemic world.

There are many cameras! Some folks say "almost a Leica" or much better than a Leica. Truth tell if it's not, it's not! Hold a Leica, push button, capture a moment! Only Leica Cameras do videos and blogs!! Thanks Leica and Russell.

Great doc and interesting photographer. Leica is the BEST, nothing comes close! Once you pick up a Leica, you know you want one. Bought my first Leica M4 in 1970. It's the longest love affair I had, (except for my wife) Still to this day, any Leica fells great in your hands. It's a serious artistic expression of one's self. Saving my $$$ to buy the 100th Anniversary of American Society of Cinematographers M kit from them. Keep shooting.

Leica M10-R is the perfect tool for my photography style. I tried every kind of camera but the Leica M series is always the one that fits to my mind. Too bad I can’t afford one :(

Don't try something you're not able to afford. It will create an emotional attachment that is difficult to abandon.

Great camera Leica but please correct the spelling of this featured photographer's surname in the video title.

I love leica but sold all my gear from the leica m-10r, leica q-p, leica SL 2 because the tech was too slow and outdated. I looooove Leica’s image quality but sadly the software and system is clunky barely any modern features.
Went back to Sony due its new a1 which is the king of kings of camera. If leica can somehow pack a punch on a tiny camera like the M series I would buy it in a heart beat. For example the new Sony Ac where they crammed in all the a7iii features to a super compact camera means that leica can do the same with the m10 and combine the SL to it.

My apologies to be so direct, but if you jump from Leica M to Sony A1 (???), I think you were on the wrong place and probably never understood the philosophy behind the brand, and I honestly think that you made the right move.

Never use Sony but I think it is a great tool for content creators. Leica can slow you down and enjoy the creation process more. I use canon r5 for studio work and it is cheap, fast and efficient. Leica is for personal work. I don’t think the price would justify how much you can charge your clients unless you have commercial and celebrities clients. Either way, it is just tool.
