He was a kid when he started making videos . Glad that he talked his brother into getting on board with him . Bet anything that he never knew how big it would soon get. Great videos guys.
did you put anything on the axle before the rotor like a metal spacer or anything? when i put the rotor on its causing a squeaking noise between the rotor and rubber bearing seal
How’d the axle hold up. Is it good? I need an axle and hubs and needed to know if the one you got is durable. Please message me back it would be highly appreciated
Back in the day me and my bro found out it was easy to learn how to ride our quads on the side two wheels. All it took was 2 weeks practicing that and it ruined the bearings that fast in the 660. Then from not noticing the axle play soon enough it caused a whole shit load of rear end damage.
umm you didn't change the bearing dude you changed the entire carrier. that's like $100 when you could have just changed the actual bearing for $20. if I changed out an entire carrier every time my bearing blew I would be broke. all you have to do was take a big extension and a big socket in the carrier and tap the bearing top then bottom until it came out then lube them and tap them in with a rubber mallet. just trying to save ya some money
Drill out and tap the carrier for a zerk fitting so you can grease the bearings. Which means you have to take the inside plastic cover off of each bearing to accept grease.
+Seymour700 And I'm happy for you, but the truth is I'm not worried about that because i already sold that quad to a satisfied customer, flipped a profit and I'm on to the next one.

Love raptors especially the model they had ❤️
I love the content. Even from 5 or so years ago.
Everyone is a master technician! Good video, had no idea what was involved to r&r that hog.
Thanks for the video.
i think you can twist the axle, like there were an thread inside axle joint, they wont create some thing that cannot change able parts
Dang son!! Just found this video.. love u guys!!

What do you recommend I do when the rotor hub won’t slide out ? Like in 4:17
I wanted to see the axle get aligned
Are all the axels the same? Or does it have to be exactly for a Yamaha raptor
very well done video

You're full of sh☆it I ride side wheelies all the time with no damage to the bearings
Hey what is the name of that axle and what site did you order it from
Ah the early days..
Kind of did it backwards supposed to loosen that stuff up with the tires and chain on
Daaang son that's legit rite dar!
How do you like the tusk axle? thinking about buying one since they're cheap....i just hope the quality aint
Definitely would recommend a tusk axle, great price and high quality. No need to over-spend
cool, where did you buy yours from?
racequad9 ebay, mine was and extended axle so it was a little more than the price of the stock axle but can't complain for $200
Look where it all started
Where did you get your rear axle
How's your day?
The axle was welded because either: 1. the axle nut was stripped OR the person lacked the tools to remove the wheel properly.
Oh ahit 8 didn't even know this was a goon squad video lmao old af
Where did you get your new carrier bearing at
billy greens butthole machines
If you left the chain on you wouldn't have to possibly bend your sproket. Also it's a 50mm wrench for the rear. Like $20 at harbor freight.
Part of being an at home mechanic is making due with what you have
make v tuned pull that... duuuuude that's legit!

Yall should do fix up some sport quads now that yall pros on rebuilding!
Just not the same without Thomas
ObiJuan Kenobi I agree
Bro. Why TF is my rear right tire on backwards..... the hub is on backwards and won’t come off
❤❤❤❤
THOMAS :D
You need someone to hold ur camera. 1 handed mechanic work i hard on the eyes

Oh yeah just cut it smart dude
it was welded lol only way to get it off
my beast would smoke that piece of rusted shit anyday bud
+Seymour700 And I'm happy for you, but the truth is I'm not worried about that because i already sold that quad to a satisfied customer, flipped a profit and I'm on to the next one.
+Seymour700 Too bad I don't see any videos of it on your channel, clearly means its a "beast".
Stop using pry bars, get a nice small C-clamp, also put new bearings, why you buy a tusk axle, kinda generic..
