You don't to play a 60-card version, I topped at my regionals with a 40-card build. It's just up to the pilot. The concept is always the same though. you want to end on Isolde and a xyz with 3 swords. You can even play a shadowist with mask change for a dark law in the side. Although in a 40 build I wouldn't play mor than 6 equips which is statistically optimal and just play glory,which is great BTW to chain block.
60 relies on less normal summons, you still have high chance of seeing the equip you need to resolve Borz, you play more extenders, you also have to factor for 3 trap, so yeah 60 is optimal It's why Alex Chambers also topped with it and went to Day 2 of YCS, and why Bricks got his previous top.
As non-meta as it is, this is the type of solitaire that would make a 20 minute turn amount to very little. It would not be very fun to face this is tourney.
If it is having a 20 minute turn is because they are clearing your board and cycling stuff with brothers. That is not: amountung to nothing. The deck excels at board breaking.
Honestly, getting Borreload Is a big issue. If you're in games 2-3, Dark Ruler No More may help, but not really. As mentioned above, you need to Attack it with Borz, ir they're attacking You, there isn't really a way to play around. You have to survive, bring Borz and equip Gwen to crash into Borre. People do try Impermanence/Strike just for that one card alone.
@@connorklemp354 basically isolde + the rank 5 Artorigus, with at least 3 equips, Destiny, Hallaron/Caliburn and Excaliburn. With a NA trap set, to hopefully excavate a hand trap. That's it.
resolve borz and hope you survive the opponent's turn. unfortunately, this deck doesn't really have a turn 1 play other than that though it usually works out since banishing a trap to summon drystan protects isolde. the turn 1 protection after resolving borz is gonna be buffed once god phoenix gearfried comes out in the tcg
I'm sorry man, but you never play 6O cards in this deck. So many useless cards like 3 instant fusion, eachtar, gwalchavad, etc. I play noble knights since they came out and I'm really satisfied with the deck. You should try another build...
Those versus meta's are a joke, let thunder dragon to start, its like u want decks to.lose on purpose, like fire fist and extravagance, stop this madness and play for the win not for the flex, didnt even see 70% of the deck u showed in the card by card in those duels...
Those 70% of those cards don't really mean much since they're just Isolde turbo cards. He showcased pretty much all of the NK stuff you go into after the Isolde effectively enough.
In his defence, extravagance in Fire fist was a Genius move, since the deck does not have any real draw Power, and It really Need to see some cards to pop off. Also you will usualy need your extra deck monster once.
The point of the deck Is clear, Isolde turn 1 to summon from the deck. This list got 19th at a regional, but I'm pretty sure most wins were Utopia Double cheese OTKs. The deck doesn't do much going 1st, even uninterrupted by a hand trap, AND going second you"re just tryng yo OTK with utopia. The extra deck Is there in case you failed and had to play the grind game.

Do you really need to go 60 cards? I know you have the Equips to send with Isolde, but this is actually a deck you WANT to open atleast 1 equip
You want 1 equip. Not 5... 60 is ironically, the most consistent version for the deck...

Gwen easy. Be smart with your Borz resolve, you can out anything
For outting borreload I cut all of the noble night cards and replace them with danger and orcust.
