idk man this ain't a stellar live performance, still good, but not as good as some bands out there. Paramore does some excellent stuff live still

I mean they do get old. Offspring do have some pretty cool recent live sets from the past 10 years or so in like studio sessions and what not, still sound great
@@charliezard-_-8174 I’m not saying this was a great performance. It just sounds similar to the album. So many artists use post production effects to sound perfect and it leaves them sounding pretty crappy live. Not the case here
What you got to remember is he's playing the guitar and singing so multi task to the max give him credit

My first favorite band. In 5th grade (1995) I went to Camelot Music in the mall, bought a bumper sticker with their name on it, and put it on my book bag. A girl in my class saw it and went “I love kids!”.
Hey it was my favorite band in 5th grade (2014) too, probably introduced me to punk and rock in general. Even though I ended up listening a lot more of russian rock instead

I love The Offspring. But that hurt to listen to. Ouch.
The song is too tough to sing full-on. It would have wrecked his voice for the rest of the show, and this was only like song #4 of 15 or so they did that day.

When I was 16, a few buddies and I tried jamming at the offspring and I remember thinking: "we'll never be as good as these dudes" when conpared to the CD. Then I saw them live and I went: "ugh! We WERE better!"
It depends which concert. His voice seems shot here. There are other concerts where he perfectly hits the notes.

Dude, i'm fucking 40yo and even I know that alot of these young rappers coming up now grew up on rock and metal and love to put it in their music. Genre boundaries are a thing of the past.
Don't write songs that are at the edge of your vocal register. You'll regret it later in some live performances like this one.
