Barista: Good morning! Welcome to Java Beans. What can I get started for you today?
Anneli: Good morning! I’d like to order a large latte, please.
Barista: Of course. Would you like any flavor in that latte? We have vanilla, caramel, and hazelnut.
Anneli: I’ll go with vanilla, please.
Barista: Great choice. Anything else for you today?
Anneli: Yes, I’d also like a blueberry muffin and a chocolate croissant.
Barista: Sure thing. Would you like those warmed up?
Anneli: Yes, please. That would be great.
Barista: Alright, so that’s one large vanilla latte, a warmed blueberry muffin, and a warmed chocolate croissant. Will that be all for you?
Anneli: Actually, could you add a cup of iced tea as well?
Barista: Absolutely. Would you like any sweetener in your iced tea?
Anneli: No, thank you. Just plain is fine.
Barista: Perfect. Your total is $12.50. How would you like to pay?
Anneli: I’ll pay with my card.
Barista: Great, go ahead and insert your card when you’re ready. (pause) Thank you! Your order will be ready at the end of the counter.
Anneli: Thanks a lot!
Barista: You’re welcome. Here’s your receipt. We’ll call your name when your order is ready.
Anneli: Sounds good.
A few minutes later...
Barista: (calling out) Anneli! Your order is ready!
Anneli: (approaching the counter) Thanks! Everything looks delicious.
Barista: Enjoy your drinks and pastries. Have a great day!
Anneli: Thank you, you too!
