The interference you got at home was probably because your amp is too close to your interference sources (computer, monitor, wifi, etc). I have the same issues if I have my pedalboard (with my wireless receiver on it) too close to my computer, but I've never had a single issue at rehearsals or gigs. Basically, computers are huge interference machines.
I have a pair of these (identical on the outside apart from mine being branded Joyo) and I've been happy with how they perform in my living room at living room distances.
I also have the Joyos, and like them a lot. Granted, I'm just a hobby player, not doing gigs or recording, but having the wireless freedom for just $40 vs. $100s is a no-brainer.
Also have the Joyos. No problem whatsoever
Great vid! Thanks for the honest review. Josh at Bassbuzz put a few pairs of these through the ringers using some pretty precise latency detection and came to similiar conclusions. Kudos for having the stones to gig 'em!
The new wireless Lekato set looks like a step up from the one that I own. Glad the wireless set worked at your gig! I didn't have the connection issues you were having with mine but I did notice a significant drop in my low end which was pretty bad lol
Oof! That’s no good! We can’t abide tone sucks, no siree.
As for 8+hours... i tested it. I used stop watch every time I turned it on. I came to around 11h 40min (give or take few mins). Amazing!!! And yeah, I live in apartment, so no interference problems. Iam 100% happy with these. High recommendation from my side.
Thanks for great review mr Amp .:)
i see an ampeg rocket bass amp over there, we need a review!
I wish! It's actually a PF115 cab with my old PF500 inside. It's not exactly new and exciting gear, but if there's interest, I'd be happy to do a demo/review.
I use the Joyo version of these. 4 gigs so far, no real issues so long as I don’t go too far. One reason I use wireless? To separate from ground in clubs with shitty power. I’ve been bit too many times!
I have these and they worked great right out of the box. Played a gig with them last week and had no prbs whatsoever (I admit that I don't rum much around on stage). Soundcheck included, total running time was about 4 hours.
Nice honest review as always 👍🏻
Clicked for the review, stayed for the jam 🤘🏽
Still killing it! Keep up the great work
I've been used for almost a couple of years now and they have never let me down... yes of course I've been had some drops out when I went to far from the stage( as I sometimes on some larger venus, but apart from that never had interferences issue even at home in my own home studio. But I have 2 other set of Rowin wireless that are really good as I did use one set as "in ear monitor" When I played with the band and they are too amazing...the receiver has a headphone minijack and the transmitter has a aux in minijack that can be used to even practice with a backing track or if you wanna learn a guitar solo....or use it as in ear monitor.
Hey AMP man, Butch here. Just ordered the Lakato WS-70 which are 70 channel, but in the UHF frequency band, probably 470MHz to 600MHz, instead of the 2.4GHz like the ones you're discussing. The 2.4GHz means many internet routers are sharing that band, so hopefully these will less interference. And I got these at a good price, $36 with a discount plus tax.
Let me know how that works out. Seems like you got a killer deal on them!
@@ampthebassplayer So, I've used these for about a month. After charging I hooked them up and walked around the room with no disconnects, and then decided to walk downstairs with the bass. I could only hear an occasional 1/2 second disconnect. The connection is really good because it was going through walls and insulation, and quite a ways away from the receiver! I noticed the volume drops about 20% compared to using a cable. Also, there is a hiss with every note I hit, kind of annoying playing solo, but not noticeable when playing with other music. I would give these a B, and I would use them for a gig! Definitely the price is right!
Great video! Can you please do a Krist Novoselic tone on the B1x four?? Promise i’ll join the Patreon if you do 🤝 Much love
Upload one or two of these gigs you play. I noticed when you did the "Gigging with the Zoom B1 Four" video, when you showed live examples of what you were talking about, I was thinking I would have liked to see more of that gig/show. Same thing with this video. I like all those old 70's songs.
I occasionally upload full gigs for my Patrons, but since you asked, I'll leave this here for you: czcams.com/video/axa10CZXonE/video.html
@@ampthebassplayer Thanks bro, that was awesome!
You guys rocked the hell out of "Benny and the Jets"!!
Thanks again
What is the difference with joyo jw 03
Anyone knows what's the difference of ws70, ws80 and w90?
I see you fixed you ampeg! cool!
Seem alright for a cheap set I got a cheap set like that from Hastings when they existed lol.. I liked it but overall I liked my wire better haha. But hell I still feel like these would be alright tho.
Do you think having active pickups would make it work better lol? I mean I wouldn't think they would but you think is possible???
Do you mean active pickups or an active preamp? As far as I'm aware, the former is pretty rare in basses and the latter is generally what is going on when people talk about "active basses". AMP's G&L that he tested in the house is an active bass, so I imagine it wouldn't really make a difference.
In my testing, it didn't seem to matter whether the bass was active or passive. The units act more or less the same regardless of what bass I used.
Wireless is all fun and games until you get some guy on his CB radio through the PA…
Do they work well with active electronics?
Yep. The G&L I tested is active and worked just as well as the passive basses I tried.
@@ampthebassplayer thanks....probably will get one for myself...I have seen another one WS70 which transmit at 900MHz....wondering if 900MHz would be a better frequency....may be get both....cheers
Is it as good as the xvive?
Not sure, I've never used the xvive ones.
Where’s the rumble??????
It's still here! It just gets left in the car sometimes when I'm tired after a gig.
Buena Banda.
