To all the people worried, you are allowed to cut a dogs whiskers. They're much like glorified hairs and it wont hurt the dog. The nerves are in the base, so you should never pull them. Trimming Is fine. And the groomer cut them probably because of the owners request. Cats are the ones affected by cut whiskers, not dogs. Not being mean, just setting this straight for the people who are worried:)
Yeah, our dogs whiskers will grow until it reaches her eyes, so trimming is a must
Smaller Dogs just like cats, but to a smaller degree use them to sense the distances of small areas to determine whether or not they will get stuck in the space. Dogs also use their facial whiskers for depth perception. Sensory wise this can mess with their close vision. Especialy for older dogs, this can greatly affect their senses especially when their vision is already impaired.
@@Anna-ps1us some dogs need them trimmed. It still wont mess with them enough to completely throw them off. Trimming doesnt hurt, pulling them will

There are actually some treats that you can be a dog and make him calmer for a little bit (people get that a lot when they have dogs with separation anxiety)

일반적인 강아지들은 귀가 덮여있잖아요, 그래서 처음듣는 소리가 무슨 소린지 더 잘 들으려고 갸우뚱 하는거라고 들었어요! 저 강아지는 왜 갸우뚱거리는지 잘 설명 못하지만, 아마 비슷한 개념이 아닐까싶습니다
저는 강아지 주둥이..? 라고 해야하나 그거때문에 그냥 정면으로 보면 앞쪽이 주둥이에 가려서 앞이 조금 가려져서 안보이기 때문에 잘볼려고 갸우뚱한다는걸로 알고있어요

There’s nothing wrong with using an electric razor. Sometimes you have to. Has nothing to do with skill of the groomer. Relax
Razors also take a lot of skill,especially up the legs. Too much pressure and the puppets whir will be almost unfixable

I have a Pomeranian and her whiskers grows very long enough to irritate her eyes and i asked a veterinarian first before letting a groomer cut them. It wont hurt because its necessary to cut hem if theyre long enough. Just Dont Fluck them that will hurt

I'm a groomer and I can tell you 100% this groomer is very experienced and talented! Doing an entire haircut with just scissors is very advanced! Having an eye for this Asian grooming look is very difficult to find in the US.
