I used to go to universal halal back in the day. Will try this place whenever I am back in nyc. It’s always important to support halal business. Florida still has a long way to go. Nothing like nyc.
A well organized place. Everyone knows their role. Uncle is an amazing cook. That fried rice is looking spectacular. Everything in the restaurant is really looking great. Over the years, I’ve sampled most of the different Guyanese/Caribbean food outlets in the Richmond Hill area. Some have maintained their standards that put them on the map in the first place, however, some have forsaken quality for profits. I will be trying this restaurant this weekend, and I will comment as to the deliciousness of the food. Shabna has put out another quality video.

Does anyone know if the prices are reasonable? The prices in some places are ridiculous and the food is not even tasty like the coner of 113th and Rockaway Blvd.

Food need to be added with more seasoning like a little bit more salt and fried rice seasoning curry need more salt too it's too bland..

I was actually thinking the same about the rings. I always remove my rings and make sure my nails are short before making roti for my family…this would be my only negative based on the video. I wish this family many success, I will definitely stop by the next time I’m in NY.

Very ignorant to say best food on Liberty Ave,not everyone taste is the same,what's tasty for me might not be for someone else...lack of education is a hell of a thing...I did not see lines out the door like other places,eg..Trini Delite...so their food can't be that great.Halal and Kosher does not mean it taste better,and we all know you can't be 100% sure it is...

@@theshabnashow I don't get worked up that easily,I left NY 26 years ago after living there for 21 years,i returned for the first time last week and passed right in front of that restaurant...I walked to Trini Delite and saw the line of people,so of course i had to go in and buy some doubles and roti to bring back to Florida...was very tasty...
