- I don't know what this means or why I made it.
I have a tendency to obsess over ~meaning~ and ~storylines~ which makes it difficult to edit just for the sake of it being fun. I always feel that if a video doesn't serve a purpose there's no point in making it, which is so stupid and silly because editing is meant to be fun! so this is me making something just because I felt like it and not because I convinced myself I had some mastermind idea I needed to share with the world.

I love it. You put Fred’s pompous “prayer” over displays of Gilead’s brutality and Serena reading the Bible over moments of purity and love as well as moments of fighting back and rebellion. I interpreted it as the evil the Bible can be used for versus the good many of us believe it’s intended for. Beautiful…. 💙💙💙

It's gorgeous. Sometimes when I'm editing I don't understand the meaning til it's done or a few months later haha - even though I'm not religious myself, I felt like this was about how even under religious oppressive regimes, people can still find it in themselves to find beauty in life and to believe in god, not giving into the conditioning that god "hates". Also even just about using the words of someones own holy book against them to prove their own hateful extremism wrong. I was never really moved by Serena reading the bible out loud before since I have no religious background at all, don't know a single prayer, but you have a gift haha.
Holy hell are you gifted. Really love watching your work.
