It’s truly showing how even after undyne’s death the monster race didn’t just hurl over and all evacuate. this theme shows that the reason why the core is so big in the genocide run has its reason. It’s to show the sheer amount of hired guns really will do anything just to take you down. And the counting in the song really emphasize on how this is the final rush get to it!

From the sirens blaring at the CORE view and in MTT Resort, to the sheer intensity of this track, and how it slows down after you kill Mettaton NEO - you really feel like you've brought the entire underground to its knees.

I think this OST does a better job at capturing the genocide feel then slowing down existing tracks. It worked for the first two thirds of the game, but by the time we're far enough into the game, that doesn't really give the same effect. This mod really made the right decision to give us something more intense when genociding last area.

Finished undertale genocide quite a few days ago and the big difference between the core music in this and og undertale is that this one hypes you up and leads you to root for monsters
what if there was a time limit and in that time limit you had to kill all of the monsters in the core and if time runs out the core explodes dosent that sound like a cool idea?

Its a bit too intense for the core part... It feels more like when entering the core, a monitor with mettaton on it would appear and make some monologue before activating a defense system on the core that makes guns, obstacles, and traps come out from the walls and floors
It is a concept, the CORE is entering in meltdown because of the genocide route and is going to explode, destroying everything behind it, that's because this theme is intense, you have to kill everyone quickly before the CORE explodes, the monsters are attacking you to keep you away from the CORE's exit.
