Snap oversteer does not mean snappy drifting. It just means worse control over the car and unpredictability. Snap oversteer is to be avoided at all costs, especially when drifting. It's when your front tires have no grip and they're at high angle. All of a sudden they get grip and the car either just snaps to the steering direction or spins out, none of which are good and are unpredictable. While drifting having no grip out front means that your car won't be turning, it will keep driving forward even with the front wheels turned, the moment you slow down the car will most likely spin out unless you straighten out the front wheels.
