I have a similar story when it comes to listening to coil during my years of addiction and depravity gold is the metal is my favorite album of theirs tracks like "metal in the head" and "sound trap" are some of the best material they've done I remember listening to constant shallowness leads the evil high as a kite on meth and just completely mesmerized by it🎧😱😵💫 now that I have a clear head... it's still mesmerizes me! hats off to you brother 👍🙏 BrAp oN!!¡!✋✌️
Gold is the Metal is my favorite compilation and some of their best retakes and psychedelic iconic songs ever.Never gets old!
It was '87 when I was introduced to this music courtesy of a genius DJ on a local radio station. I never thought I would be able to hear this again until this was posted. Thank you!
What!? Almost 40 years later you hear this again! Awesome. I'm trying to find similar gems my mind heard. Every once a decade I'll rediscover one and be hella thankful.

I'll have to watch that movie again, because I don't remember anything sounding similar to this. It's been a couple of decades, so I've forgotten most of the soundtrack other than Beethoven's 9th Symphony.
At any rate, this has always been one of my favourite tracks (on one of the Unnatural History albums).

@@misanthrophex they overlap through Steven Stapleton, so far as I know, who recorded Shadow Weaver and a Ka-Spel album or two--he also recorded Jhonn Balance in Current 93. The LPD album Kollaboris seems to suggest that LPD don't often collaborate outside their sphere, as many of the tracks are Tear Garden songs.
I have a private suspicion that "J." Ka-spel sings about in "Supper at J's" is Jhonn Balance.
