@@snake-m3g I mean the only way you get them in this game is by luck. An event and you either have saved up or pay 10 dollars for the battle pass. Or you get lucky prestiging. Which frankly I bet is only gonna pool a couple specific skins. I’m just worried these skins are gonna be mainly only a purchasable item.
Come on Crytek. this event is called scorched earth and still no hellfire bomb skin? :P

@@johnvargo1242 Maybe in the shop but i am sure this is all we can expect in the Battle Pass. Crytek always showed evereything in the pass before the event and the number of items seems right.
"Scorched Earth" - це словосполучення, що означає військову тактику, за якою армія, крім знищення солдатів ворога, знищує промисловість, отруює джерела їжі та води, руйнує дороги, знищує паливо. Тобто, вона робить все, щоб ворог не міг скористатися цим у майбутньому. Через це в першу чергу страждає мирне населення. Так що по лору це, ймовірно, буде причиною спустошення території нової карти.
Тому назва івенту необов'язково відсилає саме до нового босу імолятора. Хоча вони дійсно могли б зробити скіни в стилі івенту, мабуть, це було б навіть цікавіше. Я б хотів побачити трішки опалене дерево на прикладі умовної mosin nagant

It's not going to change a single thing about how we play the game.
They’re likely going to implement a loot drop system in the future like most other games have these days. This is just a precursor to that.
@@Dan_Backslide That's the first fair criticism I've heard. However, the counter to this is that "Good" skins that even approach a functional use have always been 300-600H$ or a paid Legendary. I'm fully behind the idea "don't make it worse", but this is one of the few games with an MTX history of "not bad at all".

bullet drop off and arrow drop offs so dead eye u still need to be fairly close , mid range
@@truongnd1 Yes, you are right, but I've changed from thinking it's useless when I remembered the shotbolt ammo. If you can learn the drop (like seriously this mechanic has been all over the industry at least since battlefield 2), you can now use this to snipe with a crossbow.
Only two more days i hope this event leads to more success for this incredible game your team has been crushing it.

I really wish this game would go a more consumer friendly way about skins, i hate timed battle passes and the likes. they are so predatory, I hope someday this game changes in the favour of chivalry or helldivers battle passes where there are no time requirements after purchase

It all looks really cool. But do we really need to call skins "legendary" "epic" and "mythic". They don't mean anything and it just makes people think of predatory microtransactions in other games.
Having different tiers of skins is just stupid, but I guess Crytek wants to create a fake sense of "exclusivity" and FOMO for them.
That said, the skins still look sick, and I'm deffo gonna buy the Battle Pass. Really hope that the whole unneeded bullet drop fiasco flops to the extreme extent that they'll consider removing it permanently though, but we'll see what happens!

I'm interested to see what role a new carbine can play in the meta it looks like compact ammo. I imagine it as a slower officer carbine with more bullets but less speed.
.56-56 Spencer is twice as heavy a bigger than Mosin-Nagant 7,62x54 mm ammo...
@@waughannauron2403 It's also a black powder cartridge so every shot should create a smoke cloud. It's like a slightly smaller mini ball from the US Civil War but in a rimmed case.

IF they want to keep some sort of logic, it should be long ammo or special ammo...

Honestly feel like the bow skin was a missed opportunity to introduce a new type of bow as it clearly takes after a Penobscot style bow rather than the current Recurve style bow we have in the game now.

Tide of corruption introduced 5 variants, 1 tool and 1 consumable

This game is probably one of the few games I don't mind purchasing cosmetics. Everything about them are cool, unique, and fit the timeline + They're actually putting effort into it !
