In this video I go through the install and overview on a gurney flap I got from I-5 Autohaus. The install was super simple and easy to do but there are definitely things that are important to know before installing it, especially if you don't have pre-existing holes on the spoiler itself. Absolutely love your rims man, just wish both front and rear were 40 thickness instead of 35 rear and 40 front. Are you using any spacers up front?
Yea man I would’ve loved a 40 In the rears but the widest tire I can get with a 40 sidewall is 285 and needed something wider then that. No spacers used on any wheel

how's it holding up against strong downforce winds ? is the only adhesive u used just around the screw hole ?
I have gone some really high speeds and holds up perfectly and yes only adhesive is around the screws

Did your gurney flap fit right into place... mine requires me the bend the edges in to make the ends make contact with the spoiler....I'm worried the screws won't hold up to this tension.
Yea mine fit like a glove not sure where your got yours from but it may be how your aligning it
Do the gurney flap holes match OEM holes on the 2020 Gt350/500's Spoiler?
Probably not exact but it’s really up to you where you wanna line it up. Seeing the oem wings at the dealers could give you a better idea
Have you gone through a car wash with this? I pay for unlimited washes and my GT500 spoiler holds up fine in the wash. Curious if this would hold up as well.
I do not go through any car washes always by hand

No sir I personally only taken it through once in over a year with the spolier but you shouldn’t have any issues

Haha yeah, unfortunately I was misinformed at the beginning when I got the car and told they were brembos.
@@anthony5.012 The painted calipers look great! I would love to tackle that project on my GT but would prefer to use a brush since it's less mess, not sure if it would look as good as using spray paint though.

You said hand screw it in, does that mean I don't need a drill?
You definitely could drill in but I advice just to pop holes in and hand screw the same screws it came with to avoid any mistakes that could happen while drilling

What size drill bit did you use?
I did not use a drill bit, all I did was poke very small holes where I marked and hand screwed the screws straight in

I went with a carbon fiber gurney flap, looks good, but i think gloss black looks better.

Haha yea sadly I had to put my phone down to install it because it required two people to align it but the only part you missed was the screws going it which was the easiest part!
This was a great video of not showing us how to install it… lol
