I don't think this is more than the usual way these marriages often play out. Pretty woman wants to marry a superstar with money. Then, superstar continues to prioritise work ethic that's required to continue to be a superstar. Needy woman feels lonely and doesn't compute you can't have money without the graft. Woman gets divorced and leaves with enough money to live on for rest of her life.

It's not justified, he's out there working giving her a stay-at-home life...and by far most important is they have a kid. She needs to get over it and make the marriage work at all costs, they have a kid there is no 'go find the right partner' that ship has sailed.

@@andyclark8991 I will meet you at least halfway, Rory certainly seems as you describe and it is also his responsibility to make it work (without interfering with WORK)...the issue is they have a young child, bringing her along and doing the things you describe isn't tenable because of that (unless you abandon the child with help I guess). Issues is they both seemed to have married for looks/status/wealth, at least from the armchair view....but tough shit, they have a kid, time to make it work regardless of happiness.
