Maeterlinck was so unfortunate, used as a pawn by those she was so loyal to, and out of all characters in the game i think she was the most aware of the suicidal danger she was put into. If i as 621 could've spoken, i would've sank it in that Snail is a insideous asshole and both will not help her, and that her trust in him will kill her if she continues. Those grinder wheels alone will be enough reason for her to bail.
I can just imagine after G3 saying “I smell opportunity” raven just replies back in G2’s voice saying “you’re daring, I’ll give you that. What did Michigan see in you?” Seeing as you’re using his mech build, and it would be a funny little Easter egg for it to occur (at least after the first and only encounter with G2)

Prior to this mission, you took out Rusty, and before that you either take out Michigan, the best of the Redguns, or 2 other Vespers, V.V and V.VIII. Heck, even before u show up, she is already begging for support despite just dealing with MTs. Realistically, she would be shitting her pants just by seeing us

remind me how this is cut dialog? i play both Jap version and Eng version. and these aren't really cut from the game. they just have an RNG script to play at random times.
@@MaidenlessScrub if you killed her too quick or prioritized her as the target before switching to g3, thats normally why you don't hear her dialog too frequently. that goes for g3 too, you essentially have to just replay the missions over and over again just to take a peek at their dialogs. coming from me who tried S ranking every mission and keep hearing the same dialogs and hear new ones. im VERY confident this isn't cut lol. Its rare, and possibly scarcely played, But it's definitely there.

@@hideous_taco_michael_zackiThey meant in arena rank, Maeterlinck was the lowest ranked Vesper while Wu Huahai is the second lowest ranked Redgun after G6 Red, so slightly inaccurate to say that Wu was bottom of the barrel of the Redguns, but he's close enough that it's just by a technicality. From what I recall I believe Arena rank isn't based entirely off of pilot skill alone but also with other factors like amount of missions the pilot has completed, but still it's likely that Snail left them both to die due to their lack of worth by Snail's standards.
