      Then again, the current 64 team 6 round bracket just started in the early 80s. So maybe there just wasn't as much money to be made betting on march madness until a few years after 1985a.

    The thing that really screws you in these brackets (and makes it hard to calculate the odds of predicting the tournament correctly) is that you don't pick every game in a vacuum. If you pick a team to go to the Final Four and they lose in the round of 32, the sweet sixteen and elite eight games involving that team are automatically wrong for you.

      Not necessarily. Most backet challenges (including the ncaa one) give you much more points if you pick the winner of a later round game correct.
      For this reason, brackets that stayed perfect the longest didn't always win the contest.

    I mean... To get a perfect bracket, you account for every player, every variable, and make hard calculations for upsets. The best you can hope for is a decent 88% accuracy bracket.

      @@shaunastorms729 no, what King jumpy is talking about was the time Warren Buffet issued a challenge where he would give 1 billion dollars to whoever gets a perfect bracket. Buffet only did one year back like 5 or 6 years ago. It is not still in effect.

    But they didn’t take in fact that teams of an advantage, meaning they have a higher percentage to win. Lol I wrote this before watching they did

    Odds of a perfect bracket are 1 in 9.2 Quintillion.. let that set in. That’s why Warren Buffet is offering a billion to whoever guesses it correctly.. should be more

    I once had only 3 or 4 wrong after the first 2 rounds, but then I just fell apart in the sweet 16.
