In this vlog, we embark on an incredible adventure through the majestic volcano Etna in Sicily!
We spent a fascinating day exploring the volcanic trails, admiring the lunar landscapes and learning more about this active giant. We climbed up to the observation points and marveled at the breathtaking panoramic views.
Interesting facts about Etna:
** Etna is the highest volcano in Europe, with more than 3,300 meters high.
*It is one of the most active volcanoes in the world, with frequent eruptions shaping the surrounding landscape. (we even visited it a month after an eruption in 2023)
** Greek mythology said that Etna was the Forge of Hephaestus, the God of fire and Metallurgy.
