Hey guys, I'm itchy watching you. LOL FYI - If you haven't already. Look into get some ROCKWOOL Safe‘n’Sound Fire & Soundproof Insulation for around the wood stove exhaust. It can be put close to it and you can use the rest to help reduce noise anywhere else. Like between rooms. (I used it around our fire place insert and to help cut down the noise from the furnace room, by using it on the interior wall between rooms.) Keep up the great work. All the Best, Tony

Oh wow. I've done the filter on the box fan before. So glad you didn't have condensation or mold issues. Hope your finger healed ok. Nerve damage can be an issue with any deep wound in the hand or finger.
If you have done spray insulation before you already know this, but if you haven't, make sure you cover everything with plastic with no holes anywhere. Windows, doors, and absolutely everything.

That trailer has seen a lot of action down the road, so a cut is a serious event. Tetanus shots etc is a good idea. The Trailer's sent a goodbye injury as it's slowly dismantled. Good team work.

My husband cut his left ring finger off back in October on our riding lawn mower blade ... lucky for us the doctors were able to pin 📌 it back together.... a stupid moment that cost us $$$$$

they the big issue with containers is they have this thing called 'the beer can effect' where condensation is avoidable as long as there is complete spray foam coverage, as long as there is no open voids then there is no space for the moisture to collect. Although I'm not to sure about the situation under the home, you may want to make sure u got a vapor barrier down for water getting through the ground, and coming up under the home, or just making sure that its properly drained and ventilated to keep moisture from being locked in down there!

I have a container with cc spray foam with some problem areas that I have yet to address, they get condensation when it gets really Florida-cold (sub 60 degrees), obviously hitting the due point & my AC is no longer running so naturally humidity jumps. I need 2 more kits of foam to finish my insulation.
May is the wettest month here in Missouri so keep an eye on it.

Pity you have to do this, but more insulation can't be a bad thing. It will pay off over time. But you already knew that. Sorry about Cody's mishap with the mower blade. I cut my thumb while washing a rocker style pizza cutter. I kept it wrapped with Vaseline and a bandage. It healed up quickly. Thanks for the update!
Oh man that’s awful! Summer sliced through her hand a couple years ago cutting a avocado. She actually had to have surgery on it 😂

one assumes you know how a building works, or should i say combined with new regulations - a house needs to breath to prevent condensation when can be followed by mould and unwanted nasties (like i have in my old Victorian built house with non cavity walls) most houses will have a cavity wall, with an outside waterproof surface and inside wall usually that is tied to the outside but not physically joined (this also prevents loss of heat) as such to prevent condensation build up - and most internal walls will be a stud wall covered with plaster board, think you kids in the US call it dry wall, its job is to be able to absorb moisture and dry out such as when the windows are open for ventilation - with container homes being slightly different, a metal box it is very easy for it to sweat, so its very wise to cover as you have done with an expanding foam, since it's in contact with the surface it can't really build up any condensation, but one wise move would be to cover top to bottom with plastic sheet before (re)applying the ry wall, that's just to prevent any possible water contacting direct from the outer wall to the dry wall (and going soggy) what you have done is great, a thinish layer of foam and then fibreglass or rock wool, but i would advise the plastic sheet since the rock wool is in contact with the dry wall, that's where most problems begin, you can fit a very simple system with an external vent to replenish the air inside your home, like an extractor fan you might have in the bathroom - another issue is when we decorate, most walls might be covered with wall paper, again great for taking that moisture out the air, but in case you have a gloss paint finish again you might experience condensation, and i have a really mad tip for ceilings, you may have seen this yourself, its great for small spaces, paint it a dark colour with light walls, it makes a space look bigger than it is, it also adds to soft internal lighting, i'm just about to do mine, pretty scary, see if it works out
like the finger story, makes your butt twitch matey, yep as you get older you do things a little slower, its not a speed thing, its more time to think and reconsider how best to do things right or wrong as the case may be

I wrote the comment on your earlier video about the project, but in case you missed it-- get the mini-split wall reconstructed first. Hot and humid weather is going to hit quickly, and people work more efficiently and think more clearly when they aren't overheating. Great video and progress.

My husband almost lost 2-3 fingers from a vehicles fan blade. He ended up with at least one broken finger and needed stitches in 2 or 3 (I can't remember exactly). He's the type that never goes to the doctor unless it's like an emergency so that tells you it was bad 😬
If he's at any of these places, this is why:
Optometrist = getting metal removed from his eye(s)
Dentist = getting a tooth pulled (wisdom tooth)
GM Doctor/Surgeon = stitches/x-rays/ resetting bones or CDL physical 😅

That air filter fan is a great idea. Is that a Mr. Cool mini split? Are you happy with it. Am thinking of going that way with my container build.

lookin good y'all man Cody be careful in the future.....glad the blade was dull ~ but you should have listened to Summer and at least had a tetanus shot or something (probably few stitches wouldn't have hurt either) but if it was me I'd just grab some tp & duct tape after throwing some alcohol and peroxide on it then kept gettin it 🤣 I always try to avoid doctors at all costs

Talk about doing stupid things ! I was servicing one of my window air conditioners and had it running with the cover off and moving some wires around I stuck my index finger into the fan taking off about 1/3 of the nail. It's been about a month now and the nail is about complete and I didn't loose it but it's still tender. I do have a excuse I'am a retired Mechanic and 86 years old and credit this mistake to a senior moment ! This was one of many stupid mistakes you will make in your lifetime, even though we try to be safe once in awhile we get bit !!

Is Cody gunna make any changes to electrical or plumbing since walls are down ? I know rite after y'all moved in Cody cut in a hole in the ceiling for ceiling fan and had to fish wire to power it !! Just curious 🤔
