For those wondering about the music, I don't know the first one (Might be from Zelda, or Mario), the second one is a remix of Ganon's Tower from Zelda: Ocarina of time (or Demise's theme from Skyward Sword), and the last two are the Bowser battle from New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and a remix of the true final battle from the same game.

This makes me want the ability to add custom music to levels.
You'd probably have to make them with something like the Warioware DIY record creator, but MAN, custom music would make the game so much better.

Imagine if you could make custom themes in Super Mario Maker 2. Maybe make something similar like in WarioWare DIY, where you could create whole songs.
This video shows how awesome it would be if you were able to make songs and choose when they would play in your level.

If I had Mario Maker, I would make 8 courses in 8 worlds each and I would make a boss for each one. But it would take a long time.

I like this idea, and have implemented similar things into my own Mario Maker levels, but definitely plan on using this type of concept for future boss fights. Thanks!

Seems so much a Zelda level:the possibility of many paths to explore, collecting keys and solving mini puzzles just to open the door to the great boss, an inspiring level with both inner and outer ambientations (like many Zelda's castles) that are so different and yet feel complementary to each other. Overall the "pausing moment" before you get to the boss, when you understand you are at THAT POINT. And still the double boss that you would never expect from a Mario game, a boss that doesn't ruin the entire level design for its fragility but pushes you into a memorable (yet not frustrating) fight.
Great job, really great job, hope to find some more like this in your channel

The boss fight and its bgm was quite thrilling. 💖Loved it
I can see where you got the inspiration from. The whole 3 keys thing was from Pokémon Ranger Guardian Signs when you're on the Sky Fortress, and how beating 3 members of that old people group gives you access to the middle room (the top door in this)
You then have to fight a somewhat easy final boss, and then a much harder version of it right after you feel victory. Nice callout to an amazing spinoff game that's not very well known.
i wish that were the case but alas i have never played that game. I just like collectathon themed levels/games :)

Cool feature for smm2: certain enemies (like Bowser) could be made able to pick up and use power ups.
Like imagine trying to keep Bowser from getting a propeller suit, then imagine fighting a flying Bowser, trying to knock the suit off him.

Very impressive. I'm actually brainstorming a boss arena level myself and you just gave me an idea I can apply for one of the enemies. (I'm thinking of a chomp hydra, to be specific.) :3
BTW, what happens if the player moves too far and causes the last Bowser to despawn? I've had issues with that in the past when trying to create my own design.

I have to admit, this is pretty good.
The castle theme was nice, the Ambience on the airship was a bit quiet, but you made up with that remix of.. I don't remember the name.. Using that in the final boss was awesome.
