3:44 the crafter blue with its "vulcanized" rubber is way too stiff to be comfortable imho. I own a CB10 and I don't even wear it because of how stiff and uncomfortable it is. I guess the rubber strap on the Oris aquis just completely spoiled me because that's a true rubber strap done right. The difference in comfort is night and day. Like a full 180. The comfort level of this strap compared to the aquis rubber strap is probably a mere 1/128 of the comfort.

The weak buckle on the WCWC Valour nearly cost me my turtle today. I dove into the ocean from my boat and the flimsy tongue flipped through the buckle and it was gone. Fortunately my dive gear was handy and I could dive to get it. The valour looks smart, but the buckle is weak and only good for urban activities. Not for serious outdoor use.

A foul would be hacking the end off with a blunt knife and leaving it to fray! The penny trick is a good idea I’ve seen recommended before. Personally I just tuck the strap in though.

If only crafter blue made straps for orient, the mako and tritons need curved rubber straps.
