- The last show before holidays are special events, and today's show was no exception. Invited to the studio were Bobo, Lady Di and Marion with a phone-in by Stalker Patti and a brief in studio appearance by Ira. Colin Quinn cancelled all press to be there, and DJ Whoo Kid stopped by towards the end. It was a car crash of a show and I enjoyed every second.

Same here...and it's not an easy life. However, I wouldn't go back and change it and I totally understand Patti's contentment- having absolutely nothing changed me as a person. I appreciate everything, the smallest of the most simple things in life can bring the most joy if you have nothing else. I also learned that I can survive on next to nothing and can say I asked nobody for nothing. The many lessons that can be learned from living like that are the greatest I've learned in life so far and too few people nowadays have a clue. And it's obvious.

i absolutely hate her. i think Marion might have been the worst person involved in the show. She has no redeemable features. She's stupid, she's arrogant, she completely self obsessed, she's not funny, she's spiteful, sh's vindictive, she talks over everybody, has an awful voice AND is one of the most physically ugly humans i've ever seen. At last Di and Bobo seemed like decent people.

Maybe I'm just a buffoon but I'll never understand how O and A could've listened to Patti's way of life and just laughed at her in disbelief ...and that's it. Nothing else. Not that we know of, anyway, other than saying they hand out cash when she comes in and "earns her keep". Something as simple as a damn DVD player was a dream of hers she said on an earlier show and Opie bragged about having a million of them and throwing them away. They were both incredibly wealthy and thanks in part to the people like Patti, I couldn't NOT help her out in a huge way and without demeaning her in the process. Maybe they really did behind the scenes but considering some of the stuff I've read over the years and how they just dropped people when they weren't useful anymore- I doubt it. God bless poor ol' Patti. She's nuttier than a bed bug but seems like a good hearted person nonetheless.
They fixed her hammer toes, bought her new glasses, gave her a place to stay when she was homeless, the fans pitched in to help pay off her rent debt of 2000$ , they gave her a make over AND truly brutalized her on air like every other “character” of the show. Behind the scenes oanda were more charitable because of the image they wanted to portray. They were complete douches on air
