This week we step into the gymnastics world for a simple demonstration of how to learn a 'BRIDGE.' This video DOES NOT go into all the technical aspects of the skill but it will give you a visual representation of what it should look like if done properly.
In gymnastics, a bridge is a fundamental body position where the gymnast arches their back while supporting themselves with their hands and feet. The bridge is executed by extending the arms and legs, pushing the hips upward, and forming a smooth curve with the body, resembling the shape of a bridge. It requires flexibility in the shoulders, back, and hip flexors, as well as strength in the arms and core muscles. Bridges are commonly used in gymnastics as a foundational skill and as a component of more advanced movements and routines.

Great video! Hello Greg, I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on codies, tuck, straight and pike? I would also love to know the mechanics of twisting in codies as well. From 3/4 fronts to 3/4 backs, then ball out Hal's and codies? This is just a suggestion, don't need to pay attention. Thanks, keep up the great uploads! 😊
