The very ending of the song ends with Quentin, Kai, and Talia calling back to Earth to inform HQ they've found Paradise.

Man first and foremost this beat is amazing, love everything from the melody to the drum bounce. And that comment you wrote feels like i could've written it because i can literally identify with every single line in that! I remember wanting to make beats like 6ix when i was just starting out and i used to watch his interviews on hardknocktv back to back trying to figure out how he does certain things. Logic actually introduced me to american hip hop, wasn't listening to much music before that and if i wouldn't have discovered him by accident some years ago i probably would have never even thought about making beats, kinda crazy when i think about it 😅
scentless man I did the exact same thing! Those interviews on hardknocktv where he went over all the beats he did were crazy and I can’t tell you how much they inspired me to improve my sampling game. Crazy how we have very very similar upbringings with this stuff 😳. If we both keep going bro I have no doubt we’ll reach where we wanna be!

Don’t get me wrong I grew up in a decent home but still had a different struggle, my parents busting their ass to keep me and my brother outta trouble but still that didn’t stop me from doing a couple things that I look back on and regret, know what I mean? I mean I didn’t fuck up everything but I should’ve let that shit slide and focused on my dream, build me a team and when the time was right we could intervene into the scene.

What was the process, did you do drums first or samples, im finding it hard to flip samples
Me personally I start with samples. Just keep practicing my guy, it took me awhile to be comfortable flipping samples it’s not as easy as people make it out to be. I do samples first because then it’s easier to find what kind of drums I want to use with it and the type of bounce I want. Listen to kanye, j dilla, knxwledge, madlib, Monte booker and Kaytranada to see how they flip their samples to give you inspiration! Try to find good and catchy loops within your samples that sound good sped up, chopped or pitched. Hope that helps man
