P5 Strikers finally gives her screentime; I highly recommend it. It's set the summer after P5 and basically involves the PTs going on a cross-country road trip.
Ann saying she can probably tell who Haru's in love with through her dancing is very fitting considering both her and Joker do ballet. Joker's isn't pure ballet but it very heavily draws from it.

So. In harus rank 9 in p5, she loves the protagonists, whether you reject her or not. And in this game, it is said that "i will tell you another time" which indicates that haru liked akira before all this, and is planning to confess another time. I like this because like in p4, rise is the one that likes the protagonist, which is shown WAY too clearly, and is repeated in this game, but with haru, but doesnt make it obvious, or even indicates it in that matter. But akira is but away by the forhead that can fit the entire declary of independence 😏
But not all confidants make it so blatantly obvious. Like in hifumis, there is no sign of love. There is the scene where she reaveals that her mom doesnt allow her to date, and thats it. Another example is makotos. Sure, this one gets shipped to HEKK, but there is no spark that says, bang me. Other than at the rank 9, akira is given the option to say, "your fights with me", and makoto gets all shocked and gasps alittle under her breath. The only moment that is decisive evidence that makoto loves akira is when they go into sojiros house, and makoto clings on to him. Im not trying to be rude or anything, i just like talking about p5 :/

I think all the phantom girls canonically have a small crush on Joker. Strikers seems to hint at it when they ask him what girls he like and they get angry/curious when he says “the one I love” as a response.
I think that not all of the PT girls have a crush on Joker, and heres why: -Ann(who is my P5 waifu) doesn't really show an attraction or admiration of Joker too much until after you start dating, and is more preoccupied with Shiho however she is the only girl to say "I love you" first but keep in mind this was right after losing her best friend. She does run away in tears if you reject her though which may mean she had at least thought of Joker once or twice in that way. -Makoto also does not show any explicit affection or implication of a crush. Despite the scene in Sojiro's house, and the scene where Joker saves her in Futaba's palace she does not bat an eye at being friendzoned she just kinda goes "OK 😐." Granted the way Joker phrases it is rather safe, and ambiguous so she may not have caught his drift -Futaba at the very least does find Joker attractive, and comforting to be around. Evidenced by her expression during the beach scene, and throughout her confidant she has a crush on him but does not know what that feeling is. Joker thankfully let's her down easy if you reject her but she still feels an ache that she is ignorant to. -Haru is the only girl in P5 to straight up say at the end of her confidant(if you romance her) that she has had a crush on Joker since they first met. She claims to have been really happy when he came to talk with her on the roof to the point that she on the spot made up a reason(the veggies) so that she could spend more alone time with him. Plus if you do reject her you can positively feel the hurt, and anguish at being friendzoned. -Kasumi apparently only has 5 events instead of 10 which means either she is a villain or her arcana changes during the P5R story(like Adachi in P4G changes from Jester to Hunger/Lust). Atlus says she admires Joker which many people believe to be why her PT outfit looks so similar to his but admiration, and affection are two different things like how you can respect someone's skills but you don't like them that much. I think Kasumi will probably be a more lowkey Rise who wants Joker but does not constantly talk about it like Rise with Yu.
Not only that, but Haru politely excuses herself upon being rejected because of how hurt she was. When I discovered that and how she actually fell in love with Joker, I make it a rule to always romance her (in my first playthrough, I romanced Takemi).

They needed more time with Haru in the original, but if they actually added Hifumi... *oof* P5R will hopefully fix that. For those who don't know, Hifumi was actually planned to be part of the Phantoms but due to time constraints, they didn't add her since the story was long enough.

Hifumi's design*. There was a Phantom Thief (Not hifumi) that had their appearance already chosen, but because of the size of the PT didn't make it into the final cut. Because of that, Soejima reused that design in a confidant who would end up being Hifumi.

Yusuke and Akira's chemistry is entirely up to the player and through out his confidant line Akira more of just sits there and experiences him instead of properly helping him with his problems. I don't think people like to ship Akira and Yusuke, I think they just like Yusuke and use Akira as a way to insert themselves.
Haru is great she really grew on me at first she was like really low on my list but has I hung out with her she really started to rise in my heart but makoto still number one

Not sure if its randomized, but I got Haru during the School Festival event when they go on stage in P5 and Royal. The game must know me well if it is RNG lol
I'm pretty sure that you get her as an option regardless of any prior choices. Considering the fact that her Confidant hasn't even started yet at this point in time, therefore she doesn't receive any confidant points, her post-festival event is probably just meant to give her more screen time in the vanilla P5 as well as providing the player with another option besides Ryuji (or their romanced partner, if any). Although let's be real here, if anyone chooses to leave their romanced partner hanging then they're terrible boyfriend-material.
When i was playing the game i was just doing it for trophies and i ranked ann to max on my confidant after that i wished I did someone else either was going to be Makota or Summire now i feel bad for Morgan.

Yusuke and Akira's chemistry is entirely up to the player and through out his confidant line Akira more of just sits there and experiences him instead of properly helping him with his problems. I don't think people like to ship Akira and Yusuke, I think they just like Yusuke and use Akira as a way to insert themselves.

I'm pretty sure that you get her as an option regardless of any prior choices. Considering the fact that her Confidant hasn't even started yet at this point in time, therefore she doesn't receive any confidant points, her post-festival event is probably just meant to give her more screen time in the vanilla P5 as well as providing the player with another option besides Ryuji (or their romanced partner, if any). Although let's be real here, if anyone chooses to leave their romanced partner hanging then they're terrible boyfriend-material.
