- Join Us for Lunch at The Gettysburg Family Restaurant for Seafood. This place is a favorite for locals and tourists. We have never been here so we were excited about trying this place out.

The area right behind that strip mall was Camp Letterman. During the Civil War it was a field hospital. It is still the largest field hospital ever on American soil. Clara Barton, founder of the Red Cross, served here. Love your videos.

We actually went to this restaurant this past November. It was our favorite actually out of several places we went The food was really good.Really enjoy watching you guys!!

I ate there and their breakfast is delicious - no complaints there- clean, friendly and good service. One of Gettysburg's best restaurants.

I used to eat there regularly. My wife isn't wild about it so we stopped going, but I always liked it. It's you typical diner-like 'locals' restaurant. Tourist don't go there much, I'd guess. But the townies are always there.

hey there j and b was looking at one of your older videos from about 8 months ago Gettysburg family restaurant man that food look outstanding just want to let y'all know I was in Sevierville Tennessee last week and ate it preacher's smokehouse it's a small place but man the barbecue in the ribs will make your tongue smack your brains out and I think they're only open Thursday Friday and Saturdays I believe I'm correct on that again it's preacher smokehouse in Sevierville Tennessee y'all got to try it when y'all get back up that way I will be back up that way the second week in April to next video guys God bless

It was so good. Especially coming from a diner. It was as good as red lobster.
We ate there 2 years ago when we were in Gettysburg. We wanted to eat at local diner type places and found it on Trip Adviser. The food was so good and the price was quite reasonable. Your seafood looked delicious!

I like how you guys give a little video of what it looks like out front of these restaurants because then we will know what to look for. I'm going to Gettysburg in a few weeks. I live about 2 hours from it. I'm excited to visit.

Hi John and Bobbie!! Boy, you two just complement each other so very well and make a great team. I have been praying for God to open the door to new jobs in His time for y'all. Is the company you worked for so many years going out of business? By the way, the last video you did showing your home was wonderful-it is a quaint and beautiful and well kept home and I was so happy to get a little peek at where you live. Also, Bobbie your nails always look so well manicured and I love the colors you choose to wear. I can tell that you both love Rock N' Roll music. I used to listen to Fleetwood Mac, Yes, Boston and just recently bought a CD with Chicago's greatest hits. The 70's and 80's were also the greatest time of the singer/songwriter with James Taylor, Carly Simon, Bread, Carol King, America, Eagles etc...that is when the lyrics were so meaningful and the music was so good that even today they are classics that just do not go out of style.
The food at this restaurant looked absolutely delicious. I always get so excited to see what type of restaurant and food you each choose for your video's and they never disappoint. I do hope that you will keep making video's after you leave your jobs this month. Hope you had a good 4th of July and I send my warmest regards to both of you.

I have been at my job for 35 years and John has 20 years, so it will be really hard to leave so many people they are just not our coworkers but they are like family ,we have been through so much together. It is sad we worked everyday in 2020 when the Virus was at its peak. I know God has a plan he never closes one door without opening another. I try to keep the house nice but it is a little easier it is just John and I ,but when the grandkids come over look out lol. One of my favorite groups is Fleetwood Mac also, and thank you for commenting on my nails I love to do bright colors. John and I get along so well he is the best husband. Thanks for watching😎😎

That place looks like a typical diner in small town America and not a tourist trap. I can’t say much for the decor but the food looked amazing and the prices were actually reasonable.

Another great video. If you haven't already, you should try Olivia's restaurant. It's out Rt 97, past the Gettysburg outlets on the right hand side of the road.
Not sure if I know that one off hand. Been to the outlets several times. Will look that place up. Might do the Pike next not sure.
I live in Jacksonville, prices add $8-10 per dish.
