She is a great singer and songwriter....but I feel like there is some Billie Eilish influence here...which is very dark and satanic. Something is different with Sarah's new album. A change I don't care much for. I think she may be trying to reach out to more mainstream...which is understandable because she needs to reach a larger audience to maintain a career. If this is true...am I saying she is a sell-out? Not exactly...but I do think she is getting away from being considered a Christian artist. She may have the message in the music...but it's not as in your face. Which is good for reaching other audiences. So yeah...She isn't singing for me...she is singing for her and those she touches with her music...My music was her last album...if this is your music...this is your album...Still good music...just doesn't have an impact for me like the last group of songs she put out. It is both useful, helpful and good to hear some strong lyrics being sung by a woman of God; there's enough wafty ones out there. Pray she is successful in following where her maker leads her
There are alot of people who need to hear the lyrics in this song (including myself) "get back your your fight " It's a good thing if she is trying to reach lost souls through her music, Mainstream or not. There is probably someone out there who wouldn't normally listen to worship music but stumbles across this and can actually relate to it and enjoy the sounds. Mainstream isn't bad if it's being used for the good. Music heals the soul and its the one universal method used for healing hearts and bringing people together. Romans 8:28
