People need to do their research before posting. Uruguay has FOUR World Championships 24/28/30/50, (not to mention the 15 Copa Americas - way more than Brazil and one more than Argentina) all backed by FIFA and posted in their webpage. So as you can see, Uruguay IS a football superpower, considering the size of the population. Cheers.

@@marceloquiroga1904 - where in FIFA's webpage? The oldest edition available to look through is 1930, labeled as "first world crown". Wikipedia has no mention of these previous world championships either - in fact, I've never even heard anyone suggest that Uruguay has more than two cups.
If one has to research the deep web to find anything about two secret championships that no-one cares about, maybe you're the one forcing your hand, and not me not reseaching enough.
Mind you, I'm biased torward Uruguay in more ways you can imagine, but this is pure fantasy.

Hey, for those uruguayans that complain that a lot of stuff in the video are not true or whatever, you have to consider also that we barely exist in the map, the fact that google has maps of the world and mark Uruguay as part of Argentina says a lot, there is obviously not enough you can know about our country if you dont do deep research on it and live here also to show images about it, the images they used, they probably found them online under the name of Uruguay, so ofc they are gonna think its from here, we need to actually put info about us out there that helps others instead of going at their throats for not knowing enough, yes some stuff in the video isnt very accurate, but they made it with a good intention and they did a good job in showing the vibe Uruguay is all about, we are just chill people in a pretty country and we are open for people who wanna learn about us. PS: yes we are very gay too

Well done. Just so you know, "gauchos" don't exist nowadays. The correct term is "paisanos". "Gauchos" were a big threat to the government of Montevideo in the beginnings of the country since they didn't follow the rules. When we think about "gauchos" we have the impression of someone who has small jobs for a short period of time called "changas". However, "gauchos" also rustled cattle which afterwards was illegally exported. Apart from that, most of the beaches of Montevideo are polluted. If you want an unspoilt beach, go from guazuvirá on.

Although I agree Colonia del Sacramento is one of the best reasons to visit Uruguay, this video didn't make it justice at all, some images are from Carmelo and other nearby cities. It's still a nice TOP 10 tho.

Uruguay is easily the most european country outside Europe. 90% of the population is from european descent, and I would say that 20% o 30% of them have anglo-saxon heritage, not only spanish or italian mediterranean

People need to do their research before posting. Uruguay has FOUR World Championships 24/28/30/50, (not to mention the 15 Copa Americas - way more than Brazil and one more than Argentina) all backed by FIFA and posted in their webpage. So as you can see, Uruguay IS a football superpower, much more so considering the size of the population. Cheers.
