Hi Beth, thank you for the tips. One of my ways I included more movement for myself is jumping on a rebounding trampoline. This addition to my workout routine has helped me with calming down in the evening and I just think it’s so much fun. 😊

My sister-in-law, who is much older than me. She was much older than my ex husband, who was much older than me. She’ll be 100 in July. She does not look it. she does not look it. I ask her what she did. She said she never ate sweets Much at all wasn’t a sugar eater. She does use oil and avocado oil, ( she was from Italy) other than that nothing different, I am so glad you’ve come out and talked about the carnivore diet. There’s a particular influencer I won’t mention her name who really really pushes this carnivore diet and people have to realize especially if they have a kidney disease that too much protein is dangerous and again I admire you for coming out and talking about it and your stroke. Thank you so much.
I always say that people need to go to their own doctor, you can find any doctor on CZcams that’s gonna agree with what you wanna do so I always say go to your doctor and again I am so glad you were honest and talked about it ❤️
Oh Yes Please; all so true Beth. What is helping me emotionally and physically is still working fulltime at 65. As much as I would like to stop, working keeps me from thinking about being lonely as I may not have a man at home but I have coworkers to talk to during the day which helps me get through the nights as well and I don't have to join a gym for exercise. Yes, that's one reason I have two full-time jobs. Several years ago, I was dead set on retiring at 55. Not anymore.

Jack Lane did eat meat as well as veggies and fruit. He also had heart problems. Leaving sugar, processed, boxed foods, etc. will also give you a healthy diet .

You must rest!
Exercise too much, 7 days a week, day in, day out with little rest breaks the body down. Rest builds your body and mind back up again.
Sometimes when i'm stressed, the best medicine can be just having a lie down or taking a nap for 10-30 minutes. Allow yourself some downtime too.

So true. Recovery is just as important as exercise! And would like to add long walks. Walking is underestimated. When you walk, you use your whole body, and in a ergonomic way our bodies are built for, and the body has to adjust to different grounds. Doing cardio or walks on a machine can never match that.

Dr Michael Greger said s studies show Americans get too much protein. He says women need about 45 grams per day. Too much protein can cause problems.

Exercise is an excellent way to stay young and improve positive thinking, so just keep doing what you're doing. Getting up at 5am is a bit on the early side, so you might consider giving yourself an extra hour in bed. My mum also enjoyed your video and got to see how you're doing.

This is a great video Maam Beth and very helpful to those who want to be healthy especially at my age that Im going 52 this year and my two daughters are still studying in college.. I have to be healthy for them because I want to spend and enjoy more years with them..I always remind them not to abuse but instead take care of their bodies while they are young..Theres this motivational line of my late father where he always told me and my siblings when he was still alive that the longer the beltline the shorter the lifeline and vice versa hahaha which is true..Thank You Maam Beth for another inspiring video! I say, try them all and whatever feels optimal, stick it out so long as you are feeling good. No fatigue, no joint pain, no skin issues...your body will help you out. Staying away from refined foods will go a long way too.
I would say, follow the methods that respect the fact that we are all different and you need to eat to you. Ignore the one size fits all diets. Ignore the trolls that say these things don't work when i know they do, because i do them. As have people i've spoken to, also find it works for them.
Other methods, projecting carnivore for example on to everybody else will get you very confused. And that's how people get in to trouble not eating right for them. As those pushing such don't respect biochemical individuality. They don't believe in that stuff.
The Blood Type and GenoType Diets combined together with eating a mostly raw food diet are the ones i follow right now as what makes me feel at my best. (I'm an O+ blood type non-secretor with the Hunter GenoType)
You just need your body measurements to begin doing the GenoType Diet which is probably a good start if you don't know your blood type and secretor status, or don't like anything invasive. You can always look in to getting them later if you don't have them already to follow the protocols more precisely if you wish.

I watched an old video of yours about breast fat transfer and you mentioned you went to a second doctor in Arizona and that if you were to ever have a facelift, he was someone you would consider because he does it under local anesthesia which is what I prefer. Could you pass on his information?

Hi Beth, just a question? Did you ever smoke? My doctor just ordered abdominal ultrasound, scan to detect for blood clots. I wonder if you ever had that before your stroke?
Abdominal ultrasound for blood clots? Are you sure they're not screening for aortic aneurysm instead?
I did not have that procedure. Yes, I smoked from 18 to 25. Thank goodness I married Alan and quit!
Your weigh lifting can be cardio too. Monitor your HR and check.

Avocados are extremely healthy for you. The “fat” in avocados, nuts and olive oil, as well as fish- raises your good cholesterol and lowers the bad cholesterol. You should eat these good fats regularly.
