Prices are down but you’re still doing better than most places I’m familiar with. I watch multiple scrappers. I know offhand you get more than Arkansas, Arizona, Maryland, North Carolina, Florida and Ohio. Could be worse my man. I do feel your pain though.
Im fairly new at watching but i like listening to youand you reasons for scrapping the way you do i think the same way at 77 and microscap but sometimes its a matter of whats going on at the time keep it going Big guy and ill continue to watch when i can .i watch many of you scrappers

If u get converters just hold them. Market is terrible. The one you had wasnt a aftermarket 😬🤦♂️

You cut up the ladder there worth more than scrap price
Transfer. That ladder was in terrible shape. I have resold Nicer ones before, but I know those are just scrap
Just have a question a lot of these yards make you have some type of paperwork on the AC coils how do you go about getting certificate or paperwork for the AC coils cuz I get them all the time and I can't do anything with them because our yard needs paper
In my state, you don't have to have paperwork or any license.. So if they require it in the state you live in, go to a different one and sell it. What I would do is collect everything. Clean it up separated. And when you get a massive load, bring it to a different state and sell it there.. Find out which states around you do not require any stupid license or have any requirements..
I am a full time scrapper in Texas, scrap yards are hit and miss, most yards requires paper work stating refrigerents been recoverd. But when it comes to window unit.
I have more choices due to small size of coils. I have a contract with two of A/c company I do. this opened lot of doors for me as my contact provided me the paper work I needed to sale them. What I do have problems with is cat converters as I cant do nothing with them when I get them. Unless I have a scrap car to sale them.
Hire a teenager to help you lift. Hernias are not fun!
