Boxing isn't all about power and Mike ain't hitting a stationary object. Footwork, mobility, timing, reflexes, how fast does you mental faculties process and react... even Cardio (while getting hit) All these things diminish with age. There is a reason why you can't sign up for the armed forces at 40 years old. Cause scientifically you can never be at your optimum state.

I was a 13 year old boy when Mike Tyson fought Tyrell Biggs. He was coming out with all the belts on him hanging off of his body and just the fear he put into the whole crowd just walking to the ring was an experience I can still remember to this day. When he got into the ring my father said to me that’s the heavyweight champion of the entire world. Iron Mike Tyson.
Right there with you…the feeling we all got when he was entering the ring was electric. It was like no other athletic event. Seeing him in that cutout towel , no socks, black trunks and those eyes coming out to Public Enemy…man, you’re talking goosebumps.
