The Eugene Stoner Tapes - Part 8: B-Roll From Around the ARES Facility

This video is one of many in a series created from an interview conducted by Edward C. Ezell with Eugene Stoner in 1988 at ARES Inc. in Port Clinton, Ohio. All the footage is courtesy of the Smithsonian Institution Archives. All I have done is cut some of the waiting time between tapes out and tried to fix the audio. Otherwise, what you are seeing is entirely unadulterated.

to all camera men..... Lathe Operators are trained not to work with anyone behind them.. that is how people get killed... it rightly makes most lathe men extremely nervous to be seen working and allowing someone in their personal space. on the gun range.. it is the opposite.. you need to be behind the bench.. universally... no camera shot is worth the liability of not only catastrophic accident, which is relatively small, but the liability of being badmouthed as unprofessional.. which is quite large.
