I refuse to pay resale. Especially if it is sold out and that incredibly rare, then why not? Rock your reps, rock your legits, just keep doing what you do cause we all like what we like and no one needs to conform (unless you try to resell reps as reals, actually gfys)
I don’t think these technically fall under “resale” because they never had a release. But I think reps in general inherently add risk to the authentic market because they’re so wide spread.
I got the same pair ( insanely flawless batch) but check this out though, I decided to wear my 4’s to sneakercon ATL and a random “rich guy” offered me in real life $10,000 in actual cash for my Undefeated Aj4’s (off my feet at that) & boy was I completely amazed sh*t was crazy but I kept it semi-real with him and told him look it’s “Gifted” bro sorry😅 he was mad disappointed when I told him I can’t sell them I mean it is what it is 😂 my entire crew at work the next day told me I was dumb for not selling them, but I just think that’s messed up to finesse someone like that 💯

Telling people u have or wear reps u will always be judged badly this is just because of how fakes used to look - any1 who really see's a good rep compared to a real will choose the fake ,simply because of price point.

Technically it wouldn’t be paying resell on these because they never had a retail release. But I agree, $30k is wild. They’re a beautiful shoe though!
Personally, if Nike doesn’t have the shoes in stock, it’s ok to get a rep. Why paying resell? Nike doesn’t lose money because they sold out and they made their money out of it.
I definitely get this position. For a shoe like this that never actually released, I agree. But for shoes that did release and there’s a market for the legit shoes, reps inherently put a lot of risk into buying shoes on the secondary market. And in some cases drives the prices even higher for the authentic shoe
These and the offwhite chicagos even beat pairs retail over 2000 dollars
