I saw him once in San Diego in 1984. I have every album he ever made. Except when public taste changed in the early seventies, and he went to easy listening instead of swingin' jazzy stuff, it didn't show off his abilities as much! But I bought those albums anyway.
Lot's of Nero videos have been taken down. This was one that disappeared. Thanks for posting this. You don't know how much it means to us "Nero" fans from his beginnings until even now!
Just seeing this. Saw him in 1970 in Lynchburg VA. Incredible pianist and stylist. He and Johnny Mathis my favorite performers. So sorry about his passing. Loved him.
I had the good fortune of seeing this musical genius playing in London in 1966. Fabulous trio.

El más extraordinario pianista interpretando tanto musica de Jazz como instrumental de compositores reconocidos..
I saw him at Symphony Hall at Boston, Mass in 1970

Why have they been taken down? I love every note he ever played!
Rest in Peace! Lots of memories!

I’ve always liked Peter Nero, didn’t know he had a sense of humor
I here just a tad of Bud Powell

1:57 I see he was a fan of Tchaikovsky
Read his obit in the Times: RIP
I wonder if this arrangement is on iTunes. It’s great!
