There is quite a few if you google search Stalker gunplay ballistics overhaul. The trick with CS and CoP is using the weapon upgrades. Gunplay is something I dont talk about a lot.
Mod author here: Weapons were NOT tweaked in any way, they just got new visuals (models and animations). Accuracy and damage is still as vanilla. Many people always tell me they feel weapons stats different but thats just a placebo effect. (Probably due to deep-rooted belief that Clear Sky gunplay is trash)
@@m4gg0t18At what resolution though? Max on 1080p is different from max on 4k. Anyway, the game can be a bit heavy on the CPU too. Single thread performance matters a lot.
@@roonitogoorooni well I am playing on a laptop, but it's still way above the recommended specs even for the new engine. 5900HX, 3080 Laptop, 32GB RAM. In the end I realized it something to do with the engine. Decided to use just SRP + AN + AS + Weapon texture, I seems to be an issue with the engine and using higher resolution textures. Start the game 100+ fps after 10mins 40fps.
I honestly don't understand why people play the originals when they can play Anomaly or GAMMA for free. Is it because of the story? I could understand that. The story is decent. No hate though. STALKER love ❤️
Because the core gameplay of Anomaly/Gamma is more towards a hardcore milsim survival experience compared to the vanilla trilogy. Which still hold up btw with just bug fix mods and fov tweaks
Yes it is the story and the jank slav humor which is absent in Anomaly. Anomaly is the widest known stalker mod but Its not the best in my opinion. True Stalker, Return to the Zone and Narodnaya Solyanka are the best I have played.
Not hate, but anomaly is a freeplay. Some people get bored of that. They prefer original stalker or some other story mods like another zone, dreamcatchet, true stalker, etc
because gamma is a poorly balanced mod with some of the strangest mechanics of any stalker mod I've ever seen in any mod that actually don't add anything new to the series besides muh graphics and tacticool guns

The original trilogy look great, but the shooting leaves a lot of be desired.

The Mod preserves that bullet spongy enemies, i want that Headshot Bonus present in SOC and COP :( any solution to this ?
There may be a mod that adds this but I’m not sure. In Clear Sky the weapons are nerfed so the upgrades appear more effective once applied.

What graphics settings are you using?
Everything on default apart from the renderer which is on R4. This is in the launcher menu.

Those leaked Stalker 2 NPC models look out of place in Xray tbh. They don't hit as good as in UE5.
This mod doesnt use those.
