In this video I unbox and review the newest minimalistic wallet by the company Ekster, the wallet in the video is the Parliament wallet. After playing around with this wallet I'm very impressed with how many cards and coupons I can actually keep in this wallet. Overall I'm excited to use it and it's perfect for taking with you on nights out or for a quick trip to the market, I think you'll really enjoy it. Thank you for your time and thank you for watching.

Only problem I’d have is not being able to latch the front flap
What color is this?
I really want the vachetta parliament with the tanned Tuscany Italian leather but the only thing that worries me is that the for the cards to pop out relies on the button. how well does the button hold up and how long till the button breaks or stops working or breaks?
My button just broke on that exact wallet. I purchased it in November 21. So I got almost 2.5 years out of it. It worked like a charm up until breaking, and I didn't even realize something was wrong until it had broke. It's a shame because the leather has a really nice patina to it now that it has aged.
How does this feel in ur back pocket
Is the leather RFID blocking on the pocket back one?
Your sentence doesn't make sense. What did you mean to ask?
@@TheChadWork2001 NEVERMIND I FIGURED IT.
@@johnniewalker3134is it on the back pocket?
Would prefer if you reflect on the negatives of the wallet as well as the positives - felt like you were trying to sell it to me
What color is the leather walley???
Caranel
Can anyone who has this confirm whether it's comfortable enough to keep in your back pocket? I got a metal card holder a few years ago and it wasn't comfortable to sit on. Would consider this if it's more comfortable.
I use it, it's softer than other ones. I don't really feel it.
What if you want to use your left hand?
I’m left handed and have one it works fine just turn the wallet around when you click the button and it opens normally
does it work with metal credit cards?
Yes, it does I have one and works:)
@@TipsNNTricks what color is this wallet?
I just wish it was possible for wallets like this to be made where they stay closed FLAT. No matter what, the top will always sort of spring open a bit when at rest.
It's leather. I use tri fold wallets, the first few days it wouldn't stay shut due to licenses insurance and CCs, but having it in my pocket it started to settle and now it stays shut.
I have one and I get past that by simply sitting it down upside down. The faraday cage on the wallet is heavy so it’s weight keeps it closed.
I keep hearing the button breaks all the time.
I haven't had issues with it myself, hopefully they would replace it under warranty if that happens.
Ive had my ekster parliament for about 4 years. The first 1 broke after about 11 months of use. Ekster replaced it within a week with no hastle. The second one I received I've been using for the other 3 years. I also tried the aluminum wallet with no flap. Seems more Durable Overall but I carry alot of cash and the band constantly moves. So I switched back to. The parliament over all 9/10 highly recommend.
That's because most people play with it like a fidget toy.
It’s not even how it looks. You have to set up the 12 pockets. It should already come set up. 🙄😒
No magnet to keep it closed? No thanks.
Ugh that’s what I was wondering. Thanks now I don’t have to watch review. They should have magnet to keep it closed 🙄
Same here. I have had my Secrid Wallet for 5 years now but it sounds like I'm better off with it.
Bi and trifold wallets went without them for God knows how long. It's not needed.
@@sabiti5428
Not only is it not needed, but magnets can actually damage your credit cards because they use electromagnetic strips and fields, meaning over time they can cause the card to stop functioning all together as the cards are exposed to the magnet for prolonged periods.
The magnetic creates an electromagnetic field, but so does your card, meaning the magnet will start interfering with your cards’ EMFs and cause the cards to stop functioning over time.
Oh man, should it have a can opener and a letter opener in it too? How about a camera while we’re at it? Sheesh…it’s a cool wallet. Cashiers will remember you walking up and clicking your cards out like a magician to buy your coffee, and your magnet, if you need it that bad 😂
how much of a pain in the ass (literally) is the wallet's plastic mechanical component to sit on? How long does it take to wear a hole in your pants?
I just take it out and set it on the table or put it in my front pocket if I'm sitting down.
@@TipsNNTricks OK, Not sure I's want a wallet to need that much maintenance. I'll stick with all leather.
@@Raul28153I don’t know what year you were born but sitting on a wallet has proven to be extremely bad for one’s back. I would advise to take your wallet out of the back pocket before you sit down. It’ll save you huge in the future
@@HorsepowerHeaven In my wallet there are a few 20s a couple 50s a DL an AMEX, a bank ATM card, my Sheriffs Id, and three medical insh' cards. It's so thin I hardly know it's there.
Fishing license aren't cards, you'd have quite the bulge folding that into your wallet
In CO we have paper fishing license's so it fits easy:)
@@TipsNNTricks We do in WV, MD, and PA. I guess I just wouldn't fold mine up. We definitely should be able to get a card. It'd be so much easier to take them with you. Especially with you know water and paper not being too good together
Thanks for the vid btw I ended up picking one of these up today@@TipsNNTricks
Your welcome enjoy it, and have a great day:)
A "Review" would imply impartiality. It appears to me you are NOT.
