I didn't understand Melody's plan. Becoming a ghost is Phoebe's idea, not Melody's, right? I didn't feel that Melody was inciting her to enter the machine.
Plot holes.. a lot of plot holes.
I think it was one of the make them think it's their idea kinda things she did say 'Too bad we exist on two separate planes" to spark the idea

This whole plotline was the stupidest part of the movie. They just had to pander to the LGBT crowd and do a reverse Casper moment.

This part has no sense at all. Why she needs to become a ghost if not to kiss the ghost girl?!? Was this the woke part of the movie?!? And what was the other plan of melody but this to ressurrect the mrfreeze ghost?!?! To kill phoebe she can't else no one would have said the magic words. It makes no sense at all!!!
