LOL WHAT. You draft the best player available. And if he’s available at 5 you take him. NOT A SICK TAKE. Enough with all of this galaxy brain crap.
I totally agree with our Burlington 🤔
If we miss in this year's draft, add 2-3 years to the rebuild (5 years minimum).
They missed. Reach for need. Bergevin could have done that.
Sick!
Reinbacher is a right handed
Ben Chiarot.
Michkov will be a
40-50goals,
80-120pts a year guy
in the likes of
Kucherov / Kaprisov.
Picking Reinbacher instead of
Michkov
is the worst mistake in
FRANCHISE. HISTORY !!!
Reffing ! awful I agree
If Will Smith and Shane Wright were both available this year at same time. Who should be picked first between these 2 players?
Will Smith, he has top line cerebral center potential. He can be a cog in a teams offensive systems. He can control the pace and split Ds, looks better then Cooley at draft -1 year.
Will Smith all day any day.
Wright had ZERO
dynamic electrifying X-Factor.
There wasn’t even ONE
spectacular play
in highlights videos.
Smith could have a whole 90min MOVIE
full of spectacular plays.
Any KHL player can leave the KHL. The player simply has to pay off the contract. Montreal can make that happen. It all depends on the player and world politics are becoming involved. If they draft him then things will move quickly. They won't draft him if moving him becomes delayed, uncertain, complicated. That investigation is going on now, since the lottery. Waiting 3 years is not an option. The 3 year deal works against Michov too. If he doesn't come early then he risks never playing in the NHL. It comes down to what he wants.
I would hope that Mtl try very hard to trade a number of veterans that do not figure in the future team.
They are just nobody wants them.
Montreal is not desperate & PLD told his team he would not be resigning with them decreasing Winnipeg's options,do you really want that attitude on our team 😥no😢
If I pick at #6 - #7, and with Carlsson / Fantilli / Smith gone, I definitively would take a chance with Michkov. A generational talent at #7 would be pure robbery by the Habs !
to me with Michkov still having what 3 years committed to KHL there is no guarantee he will even make it to the NHL....with the Russian/Ukraine war and now Finland joining NATO when will this mess end.... to me it is not worth the risk when you can get a player that is just as good and know he will play here....when they added the 2nd referee the quality went totally downhill and player safety is a total joke.... dirty players seem to get the benefit of a doubt and get away with more then they should...
I probably take Michkov at 5 but it be hard to pass up on Will Smith or Zach Benson.
Michkov is rated higher than Kirill Kaprizov and staying in Russia 3 years sure didn't hurt him. After McDavid, he would be a top 4 pick in the 2015 draft. Kaprizov, Marner and Eichel. Smith and Benson not so sure they are in his class.
Michkov has better stats in the KHL as a draft eligible
than
ALEXANDER
OVECHKIN !!!!!!
had…
Benson had 98pts in the WHL 🤣
There’s probably 50 guys at least who had those stats or better in the CHL
as draft eligible
in history
He's certainly a complicated prospect. High risk, high reward.
With the Panthers pick, I would say am absolute yes, as for the first pick if we pick 5th I say yes only if there's a change in his contract status I see a future Kaprizov
Take the Russian
Mistake because his Russian 🤔
So are a lot of the best players in the world. He's a 17/18 year old kid.
@@bgood4449 pretty sure it's not his point. There is in fact a case in which he could just never be able to come play here.
With Russia winning the wars, this is a new era. Maybe the end of Russians coming in America to play in the NHL
