Paul Harris has played Dame since the mid 1970s when he was one of the youngest traditional Dames in the business. Since then he has played almost all the Dame parts available. He has played mother, sister, cook and nursemaid to many comedians including David Jason, Frank Carson, Canon & Ball, Clive Dunn, Larry Grayson and a whole host of soap stars and television presenters. As well as playing Dame, Paul writes and lectures on the subject and holds workshops in various universities, collages and schools. He has also played Dame in several radio pantomimes.
