I genuinely never heard my dad laugh harder than when the ref safety occurred
Lmfaoo same
That ref actually rolled out of the QB's way - great play!
3:04 how my $20 subwoofer in 2000 sounded when I was 16 years old.
3:04 that's not a doink. That's a boom.
that's a boom-doink
Why was it so loud tho 😭😂😂
@@bodaciousskies my guess is that there is a mic on the top of the post. Any other suggestions?
@@eddyjowhitley4309i’m assuming that’s it
The ref on the first clip was hilarious
It’s called referee, but according to googlecyclopedia ref is short for it and you could call it that too according to googlecyclopedia
And the down should have been replayed
Refs are part of the field according to the rules. They made the correct call.@my95buick
@@my95buick Where do you come up with this nonsense?? The ref is part of the field.
@@sludge8506still dumb af tho lol
"and you dont need my description to know" lmaooo
Anyone else feel like these plays are becoming more common in the nfl? I feel like the quality of players has gone downhill
Spread across too many teams perhaps?
Defensive coordinators taking notes from the ref in the first clip to learn how to contain Lamar in the pocket.
pour one out for our dude “the man in the orange hat” tonight boys 🍻
3:05 Was there a microphone on top of the upright? DAMN that was LOUD! Boom > Doink
I remember watching NFL Follies as a kid back in 70s-80s.
The only three teams that truly played their best were the ravens, browns, and Steelers this week. L week 16. 😢
You forgot Tampa Bay. Can’t say I blame you, seems everyone else does too 😞
@zacheryburgett1602 the media can't talk about the fact that Tom Brady is a average qb who got lucky and Mayfield is doing the same thing he did with less
@@jackb5979 And you are a fucking idiot who is no longer to be considered at having a legitimate opinion for anything related to football. Brady just got lucky as an average qb and has the most rings, TDs, completions, yards, and 3rd highest QBR of all time? Dumbass.
@@jackb5979 huh? Mayfield's having a good season so far. They are 8-7... but that's it. Brady won a Super Bowl with the Bucs (had a 5-2 playoff record with them). He threw for 4700 yards two seasons and 5300 yards another. 40+ TDs for two years. Mayfield still has another 1,000 yards and 14 Tds to get close to Brady's stats. His last year was a down year, due to team injuries and the team had no running game, the Bucs already have more rushing yards this season than they did Brady's last season total.
That 1st one looked like a real MVP play.
Zacchieus with the FF lmao 🤣
3:05 i was caught not paying attention, scared the 💩 out of me LMAO
I really love seeing the chief unravel.
Pride always comes before the fall
the ref 😂😂
The avg of NFL fundamentals seems to decrease every year, and the rules changes don't help. I feel like there are at least 5 Turd Ferguson plays every game.
Agreed, every rule change and how the so called "refs" call it are ruining the game. Roughing the passer and pass interference are favorite momentum changers when the scripted team is losing.
The ref tried so hard to stay out of the way. Even raising his legs😂
that look intentional in slo motion
What’s with the base boosted doink at 3:09
just glad that ravens trip didn’t have a role in the outcome of the game
Yeah because they kicked their ass if it wasn’t an blow out it would have
Number 19 fkn shoved the guy into the kick returner and picked up the fluke fumble wtf nice job refs 🙄
Lamar tripped on the the ref😂😂😂😂
But who expects a qb to run 20 yards in the wrong direction?
Looks like no contact on close examination. Lamar may have lost his balance trying to sidestep, but in the end the ref is part of the field and it is on the players to avoid.
@@TomNimitz Contact, but just barely.
bears ankles were broken 💀
the eagles kick return fumble makes no sense. What was he doing!!??
Jaguars montage?!
3:06 holy shit
3:04 i thought it was that meme fart sound
RAIDERS
ITs so weird NOT seeing very many browns plays and so many chiefs and patriots
That’s a lot of the pat’s - Denver game 😂
watch the jumpscare at 3:00 LMFAO
Did Zaccheus forget what team he was on? The fuck?
Giants got away with illegal play shoving an eagle player into the kick returner that's interference
3:05
Like a gun shot 😂
The referee interference was hilarious! Although, the safety shouldn't have counted!
Rules are rules 🤷♂️
Refs are part of the field (although that ref is definitely not having a good week)
@keithjohnson7893 That ref definitely became part of the field lol 😂
3:03 😂😂😂😂😂
The Purdy behind the back flip was one of the coolest plays I don't care what the nfl says
Bengals 4th and inches going shotgun was the dumbest play of the year
Well, I feel better about my day!
3:07 Well we know where the mic is
a team's worst play is the other team's best play
I figured this was just going to be a replay of the Chiefs/Raiders game.
And the broncos patriots
Ref got sacked 😂😂lol
3:05
Pass interference on that ref!
I wonder who Mahomes will blame the lose on this week 😂😂😂😂😂😂
why throwing a flag, when the refferree shut down by himself ?? wtf
I like how all of these a just bed refs
That ruling on the safety was fucking ridiculous. You gave a bad team senseless hope
Haha bad team?? you must be joking. I doubt Ravens even make it to the SB and if they do, they are losing to the niners this time.
@@Max-cu6bw dude the eagles going to use our defensive scheme the next time y’all play in the playoffs. Y’all not making the bowl game 😂 we own y’all 6-2 against us you have no room to talk
@@Max-cu6bwyeah bud this has to be some of the worst 49ers whining ive ever heard. Y’all got thundercunted on Christmas. Quit doin tricks on it 💀💀 Brock Turdy is actually Zach Wilson on a better team.
@@dice3046I’ll honestly be surprised if the Ravens win a playoff game much less make it to the Super Bowl and win it. They can get it done in the regular season, but haven’t proven they can do so in the postseason. The postseason is a different animal compared to the regular season. Some teams are great regular season teams, but fail in the postseason. That’s the Ravens, and until they at least win a playoff game with Lamar Jackson at the helm, people are right to doubt them as a serious Super Bowl contender instead of just a great regular season team.
@@darthmalgus232 Lamar has a playoff win bud come back with facts. You act like niners ain’t choke every time they’re in the playoffs or the bowl game like I said we beat them the last Super Bowl game we met. You sound mentally challenged cause my statement is a fact but you’re hung up on your feelings.
The balls got oiled up this week or something.
Butterfingers….🫴🏻🫳🏻🖐🏻☀️
We know enough about Lamar Jackson now to know that if that ref wasn’t there, there is no way that play ends in a safety, or likely even negative yardage.
Unfortunately the ref is part of the field and made a bad decision to just keep running backwards.
Most intelligent people don't run backwards 20+ yards during a play. It's the first quarter, take a sack or just throw the ball away. These types of decisions can lose games for you, especially come playoff time.
@@Toutvids nope. Not relevant. Never once been an issue for him before because the ref hasn't gotten in the way before. You can look up the stats yourself, they are free and available. He is in the group with lowest sacks to sac k yardage lost average with 5 a sack. Out of relevant QBs (200+ attempts and at least 500 yards). The scale goes between 5 and 9, and Lamar is in the 5 group.
@@mskolnik2 so how did this work out for him? Very relevant. He gave up points being a dumbass. At some point you need to begin playing smarter. Patrick Mahomes is learning this as well this year. Stop trying to be superman and play smart football or you will not win the big games. Ask Mike Vick how well all his amazing running around plays worked out... hint: 2-4 playoff record. How's Jackson's playoff record? Hint: 1-3.
For the record: That safety was total BS. The bumbling ref made it happen.
The ref is considered part of the field, so it's perfectly legit
Yeah fk that should've been called ref interference and the call should've been overturned that safety doesn't happen if the idiot isn't there in the way of jackson
Calling non-BS BS makes your argument BS.
@@onsidesuperior so the ref could get in qb's way all game long and that would be perfectly fine huh
So i ate some tacos last night and finished them.... cool huh
Chiefs really sucked it up this week
Taylor shit is a curse
Is no one else concerned that there’s a 10 minute compilation of fails from 1 week!!
Maybe Tom Brady is right about the mediocracy in the NFL this year haha
Though that was ONE bad week of football.
Lamar was not great on the safety, but I still think that being tackled by the ref should not be allowed.
Nah, the refs are part of the field. Back when the umpire lined up with the linebackers, they got run into all the time. It happens less now that the umpire was moved into the backfield. It was the correct call as Lamar didn't get the ball back to the line of scrimmage. It's doubtful he would have been able to square his hips to throw with the DL chasing him anyway.
@@steveaustin2686 I fully agree that the call was justified, refs are part of the field. However, I don't think that a safety was a definite outcome even if the ref wasn't there. I mean it's totally a possible outcome but it definitely looks like Lamar had enough room to maneuver around the defenders after him and maybe even get back to the line of scrimmage.
We'll never know and this is only a hypothetical so nothing can be confirmed.
@@keithjohnson7893 Eh, I don't think so, since he was hemmed in and looking to throw it away. I don't think he would have been able to, without the 49ers getting him. Agree that it is not a definite and didn't matter anyway as the Ravens trounced the 49ers.
Greek salad
Alternate title: Teams getting really lucky on defense
So glad I didnt watch LV-KC
Hi
ref selling
Fr
it’s part of the game, plus jackson barely even made contact with him
Refs right
The chiefs have like 5 plays on here. Lol
3:05 3:05 3:06
Leg whip/tripping is a 15 yrd penalty in NFL. Should have been flag on ref, offset, replay down. But that makes too much sense. Also, Lamar needs to learn to throw it away long before running 20 yards backwards into thr endzone.
@@steveaustin2686Lamar’s a pretty fast guy and we have seen him get out of sticky situations like this before. I’m sure if the ref hadn’t sacked him in the endzone he would have been fine.
@@ak42069 Well if Lamar had not run so far back, he would not have run into where the Referee and Umpire line up. #92 cut the angle when Lamar turned, so I'm not so sure that Lamar gets set to be able to throw the ball back to the line of scrimmage.
@@steveaustin2686 we have seen Lamar throw that ball without getting set. That’s just something he’s able to do quite well. He’s def atleast chucking that ball out of bounds much farther down the field
@@ak42069 Agree to disagree.
The first clip is one of the worst calls ive ever seen
no it's not, it's the correct call. How many times have receivers used the refs as picks?
While it might hurt to get nailed in the head with an errant throw while sitting behind the end zone during a live NFL game, it would also be awesome! I would be bragging about it for months. Do you see that giant bruise on my forehead? Guess where I got that!
NFL has expanded to too many teams and there's not enough quality players across the league, this is the new norm. Same with coaching across the league. Some of this looks like high school football. Fundamental failures every week. I guess it is entertaining to watch terrible football.
Damn, and I thought the Denver and Kansas City games were the only games with bad plays. What is up with Week 16?
Also, 3:06 "Ball's snapped. *BOOM* " Sounds like a fart but I know the football hit the microphone.
Justin Fields is one of the best pocket triple threat QB's on the turf today. Give him a 5 star offense and defense and you will see numbers that seem impossible. He is a true triple threat and could average a triple double in most games. He is comparable to Payton Manning, Derek Jeter, or Russell Westbrook to name a few.
yeah, to bad they don't run the triple option in NFL.
where are all of purdys interceptions? 🧐
When a referee gets in the way and collides with or trips a player which significantly affects the outcome of the play, the play should be null and void and they should do it over. It's absurd that this isn't the case.
How come you don’t show any of the bad calls over the years made in favor of the chiefs? Lol. Patrick Mahomes wouldn’t be near the quarterback he is without the help of the refs over the years.
No excuse for a ref being in the way, get off the field, i would rather refs miss calls than ever be in the way, theres holding on every play so you are not needed in the middle of the field unless you are gonna call holding every play
Over paid and can’t catch a ball. Players are getting worse
Go raiders
How the fuck do you run into your own player
@0:40 the "grounding" looks UNINTENTIONAL.
Other than the ref getting in Jackson's way. I don't think this is "worst" plays. Just crappy execution.
Congratulations to the ravens winning and overcoming being screwed by the refs. Refs helping the whiners jeez felt like I've seen that before
That was not being screwed by refs. That play is literally quarter 1. How does that affect quarters 2, 3 and 4??
The eagles cheated i cried love u giants all the way
I feel like the nfl should
Make robot refs cause this rlly sucks.
Like if you agree
Yes I liked my own comment
horrible idea. like if u agree.
nah bc then you’re ruining the nfl
Worse than not posting highlights from the game huh 🫢
