I spent a majority of my youth pretending to be someone I wasn’t. I wanted so desperately to be cool, to be noticed, to be liked..I didn’t like who was staring back at me in the MIRROR.
I LIED to sound interesting, I LIED to appear funny, I LIED to get anyone to notice me.
I wanted GIRLS to notice me...I was constantly chasing that relationship with ANYONE..
Since 2nd grade, constantly seeking the opposite sex.
In 6th grade, I began to think about sex..alot
I began to “self satisfy” any chance I got.
Looking back at the habits I developed in that mindset...it makes me hang my head in shame.
My Grandparents divorced, my parents divorced..it only made sense I was seeking that “intimacy”...any intimacy would do the job..

Legit one day I thought about taking my own life using drugs had no hope i wasn’t hearing God anymore and my life became useless and even tho I was surrounded with people that loved me I still felt alone. I grew up without a Father. So many walk that same path of life, never knowing the TRUE guidance a Father can provide, the sense of protection, the unwavering love a Father is supposed to extend to his children.
It only got harder once I had children of my own, HOW do I be a Father, when I don’t even know what it means…so many abandon their children asking that same question to themselves.
God changed everything, God began showing me what it meant to love, to care, to nurture…but not just my children, but those around me “thy neighbor”.

We are going to have “Moments of Uncertainty”
But that is not as important as the element you use to relieve yourself. Many followers of Christ are still indulging in our vices and addictions to relieve our “Uncertainties”

I was an addict of meth felt like for 10 years, on and off. I tried so hard to get clean sometimes and would go back to the habit of either smoking or snorting dope, but thankfully today, May 13, 2024, i've been sober 4 years!
